which have been installed in the target organization of this report which is the England and
the Wales cricket board (ECB).

the first class games (Ratten 2019. The lack of highly skilled IT technicians in each
business unit of ECB was the other negative of this theme.
6.1 Issues and problems of the Information System
Digital technologies play a huge role to protect the quality of the game from different
perspectives. However, there are few challenges related with the use of this technology as
well like the cyber security attacks like ransomware which can disrupt the confidentiality of
the data (Di Palma and Ascione 2018). The CIO of ECB was very much reluctant to state the
most probable challenges relayed with the incorporation of the digital technologies such as its
privacy concerns and complexity. The other drawbacks of this technology are management of
the work overload and digital media manipulation.
6.2 Issues which must be addressed
There are lots of challenges related with the introduction of IT systems across
England and Wales which were not discussed by the CIO such as managing the security of
the data, cloud computing issues, management of the regulatory compliances, challenges
of integrating technologies and management of the resources who do not have any idea
about the advantage of introducing any IT system in this sport.

also be one of the most significant strategy adopted by ECB to deal with the challenges of IT
systems and digital technologies.

CIO of ECB however, some of these technologies had limitations like the huge amount of
time required in decision review system.
New consumers and new investors were attracted as a result of the introduction of IT
systems. The quality of the fact based decisions enhanced after the introduction of new
technologies whereas the lack of effective training sessions and few human errors are the
only issues of these systems. As a future strategy the CIO of ECB must be having a road map
for each of the stakeholders to remove any sort of misperceptions related with the IT systems.
New system testing modules like the white box and black box testing was introduced after the
interview which can be helpful to improve the operations of the IT systems. Other sports
