There are manay types of networks in information techology sector these network allow computers
to connect with other systems and communicate. In the list of network there are few in diffrence are
taken like LAN, WAN, MAN, VPN, WLAN, SAN etc. Local area network is a network which can
make connection between few computers and has its boundaries inside the geographical area the
group of devices are connected with each other by some switches and gives access to the specified
protocol or IP address to the useres and then they can connect with the network. LAN data sharing
is fast as they are used in limited distance, LAN'S data rates is in the 5 to 20 mbps which is speed of
sharing. Metropolitan area network is larger than local area network metropiltian area network is
designed for the users who need the high speed internet on then betwork it is shared between or it
can shared between two cities or in the same city as well. It is costlt network which may or may not
be owned by the individual or by the organisation. Wide area network clears by its name as it is
wide in so it can be shared at the wide or large area or covered in the large area it is way more
complicated than local area netwrok or metropolitian area network because of its wide area. Wide
area network data speed is slow as it is shared with numbers of genral public like mobile network .
(Luftman, Lyytinen and Zvi, 2017. ). LAN allows a single pair of devices to connect and
communicate where it comes to MAN multiple computers or systems can easily connect
simultaneously and communicate. WAN requires and allows
a huge group of computers can connect and communicate at the same time. In the context of LAN
examples are like college, schools and hospitals where MAN can handle different branches of banks
in the same
time, in wide area of networking organisation is like one bank and its franchisee banks situated in
UK can communicate through WAN. MAN &
WAN networks are quite similar but very different from local area network
as LAN is used with the specific selected area so the speed of local area network is high but this is
not same with the MAN & WAN network cause they have more area to cover so their networking
speed is less. Progation delay is short in local area network where it is moderate in metroplitan area
network and very long in wide area of network. LAN'S ownership is private where in MAN'S it can
be both and same as in wide networking.
LAN covers WIFI, ethernet cables
MAN covers modem and wire/cables
WAN covers optic wires, microwaves and satellites
LAN ownership of network id private and remaining two have private and public. LAN is

connected with ethernet cables. There are other network
aside from LAN, MAN and WAN like home area network which resides inside house for a personal
use. Campus area network which is used as for
a colleges and hospital. Near-me network sharing files with others at the same conference table.

Different stages of system devlopment
System development life cycle is a model which includes the process of system alterting or
procedures for devloping their life cycle is called as system devlopment life cycle. This cycle is
includes few phases which works on the system devlopmen process how system devlopes in system
whole life are as follows:
1. Planning- it is the first step of system devlopment life cycle, planning in advance for the project
to check and assess feasibility to plan and schedule.
2. Analysis- by understanding and calculating business needs and processing needs of the system is
gone through the analysis.
3. Design- in the third step of the system devlopment life cycle what are the actual requriement
sorted out after finding and analysis the basic requriement of project or system then the design of
system is made.
4. Implementation- after designing the system base plan it is time for the implementaion of the
system is the next step where the construction of system and test of the system is started an dafter
that it is distributed or installed for the user and train them how to use the system and if all went
good with the user review then it is all set for installation.
5. Maintenance is the task where after installation of the syetem and user review, system is went for
all set for use and then the after insatallation services takes place where maintainance team kepp
system healthy and improve with giving updates in the system.
Preparing a different stages of system development. First of all the bank needs to prepare a plan
what they have to do and for whom technology required for the planning and people or employees
required for the accomplishment of the plan deciding the objectives and problems have to faced
while implementing the plan and then comes analysis means gathering information from the
customers of bank about what they want from bank about the services and policies required for
customers analysis of market what customers are expecting and analysing the competitors banks
policies and services which they are providing to there customers bank needs to build
communication with customers to know the vision of customers about the banks services after
analysing the customer need the bank prepare a design for there plan preparing a system how its
going to work and security system, codes or different types of data required for system of bank
design plan , And after preparing design then implement design of the plan by providing various
system coding and configuration and programming of the plan about the language. And after
implementation the testing of a system occurs to know that software is error free and after the
quality assurance of the software and after various verification(Wu, Straub and Liang, 2015. .). this

needs to test that there software is according to plan and satisfied the customer needs this testing
means the proper analysis of software to kn ow its efficiency are able to cope up with plan and the
last stage of system development of installation & maintenance after the testing of software the
installation process started in this the services are provided to the bank customers and after that if
any changes were to be made or any problem arises to customers then its goes into maintenance
process to fix the problem of customer. Maintenance is the last stage of system development
whenever a client having any issue or problem related to the product or software of the business
then maintenance department works effectively.

Conclusion
In this project file there are some question about information technology an introduction of
information technology and communication has largeimpact on each and every part of ourv life.
The use and importance of imternet is very high in our daily life without internet our lifes does not
exsist these days. People have business on the otherside where they only use internet as an resource
for there business and they also have a great impact on our lives. In this project we also find about
the structure and process of system devlopment life cycle which specifies few phases of life cycle
where planning, analyse, design, implementation and maintainece where discussion of these phases
coclude that life cycle of system design. The importance of intranet which improves customer
services, share of resources. Ethical and social issues which build stopage in the running business.
There are the differences found out between three networks in information technology are LAN,
WAN, MAN are local area network, wide area network, metropolitian area network with low,
moderate and high speed network with specific booundairies we found that local is area network is
good among them all this can only use in local area network. Information technology plays a great
impact on the society.
