1.IntroductionThe company runs approximately 35 Linux server which perform the different kind oftasks like database hosting, file serving, email relay, application hosting, web hosting etc.Iaas (Infrastructure as a Service) is a structure of cloud computing the gives virtualizedcomputing in the internet. The service features of the three Iaas (Amazon Web Services(AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Compute Engine) provider will be provided. Theoptions and services will be found for each Iaas provider to the IP address allocation andmanagement in virtual machines. The features and services will be identified to improve theprotect services from outages, undertake backups and client uptime. The virtual server will becreated, Installed and configured to run on Linux. The task will be done by using the free trialaccounts. The webpage will be created to contain the details such as subject name and otherdetails one can to choose. The web server operations will be tested using an external clientrequesting the web page that one have created 2.Cloud services comparisonInfra structure as a service providers provide virtualized resources related to the cloudcomputing over the internet. Some of the IAAS are Amazon web services, Microsoft azure,Google. The comparison of services of these service providers are given below.Virtual Linux server hostingMicrosoft azure provides services like Cloud ServicesAzure Websites and AppsAzure BatchAzure SchedulerLogic Apps.These services appear to be standard services for azure. When comparing it with Amazon web services, Amazon hosts different types of services like Amazon Elastic Beanstalk. In comparison with azure and Amazon, Google’s web service is very standard though it hosts limited services but that has big data. Amazon has s3 Amazon simple storage as the object storage.Google has the advanced object storage and that is named as the cloud storage. Next to cloudstorage, Block storage has its importance. Google has persistent storage when compared withazure and Amazon web services. Other type of storage option called the Hybrid cloud storagealso exists but not in google. Stor simple and AWS storage gateway are the hybrid storagespresent in Azure and Amazon respectively.IPv4 and IPv6 addressingAmazon web services support both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing in addition to separate addressing, it also has the facility of dual addressing. The dual addressing is nothing but the combination of both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing. A type of AWS namely Amazon Route 53 supports both reverse and forward IPv6 addressing records.While investigating about Google, it is known that it can also have two types of addressing IPv4 and IPv6.If connect our instance over IPv4 addressing, address has to assigned to succeed but while connecting our instance with IPv6 addressing, no need to assign address.Microsoft azure has a special feature of smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6 addressing. Azure uses IPV6 widely and it has planned worldwide capability via IPv6 addressing.ReduntancyAmazon web services were found to be have durable redundancy. Microsoft Azure is found to have locally redundant storage. Google is found to have geographically redundant storage.BackupAzure uses a backup technique called the azure backup. Amazon uses a backup technique called the Amazon Glacier backup. The below mentioned steps are helps to launch the Linux virtual machineeffectively..Step 1: Launch an Amazon EC2Open Amazon EC2 console and click on Launch Instance (virtual machines are calledinstances). This is required to create and configure your own virtual machine. Step 2: Configuring Instancesa.In this screen, you will be shown an Amazon Machine Image (AMI), a template containing software configuration (e.g. an operating system, an application server, andapplications). Launch an instance from AMI. b.Choose an appropriate mix of applications from combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking capacity to create an instance type. Covered by Free Tier, thisoffers enough compute capacity. c.Selected configuration, storage, tagging, and security settings can be reviewed. Accept default values or customize. d.Chose an existing key pair or create a new key pair. Save your key pair somewhere safe. e.See status of instance you just created on next screen. f.Also note Public IP address. Step 3: Connect to InstanceAfter all the creating instance process this is the time to connect to it. Step 4: TerminationTerminate your instance if you aren’t using them or you will be charged for something not in use. Now register a domain name and attach it to a instance, allowing end users to find your applications. Below screenshot shows the creation of new Amazon Web service.
