INTRODUCTION
There has to be good distribution of roles and responsibilities which has to be present in
an organization so that there is going to be advanced functioning and performance which is
going to be present. Unilever is operating in bazaar since 1929 which is having its headquarters
in London, United Kingdom. There are more than 155,000 employees working in the company
which is a very good factor for the performance and expansion factor of the company as well.
The report is going to discuss the roles of different departments, roles of financial management
and collaborate working which needs to be present for a business to be able to operate effectively
and smoothly in the market.

It is very important for the departments of the organization to know their responsibilities
and roles in the market so that they can make the right functioning. There is going to be higher
achievement of targets and goals which would be present by having this factor since the sense of
direction is going to be present (Reilly and Jones III, 2017). Following report is going to discuss
the functions of human resource, finance and marketing in the market of Unilever so that there is
going to be higher performance.
Human resources
There is a requirement of a strong bridge between the management and the employees which
is filled by this department in Unilever which is going to be very good for the operations. The
standards of the company are higher therefore it is important for the company to have good
monitoring and controlling on the employees from time to time so that there is going to be higher
reputation which is going to be present. Hiring the right employees and managing their
performance in the company has to be present (Kriz and Welch, 2018). The employees are also
trained from time to time so that there is going to be higher environmental improvement which is
going to be present. Motivating the employees from time to time is very important for the
