ABSTRACT
The report would include the positive and the negative aspect of the social on the internet.
Social media is increasing and the use of the social media is also increasing day by day. So the
report would provide us the positive and the negative aspects of the social media. While using
the online services many of the people would not be keeping the security and the privacy
measures. So the report is providing the knowledge regarding the security and the privacy
measures which must be kept while using the internet and the social media services as well. The
detailed comparison of the social media service and the features and the applications is done in
the report.

INTRODUCTION
Cloud computing is the non-demand availability of computer system resources which made
able to store data without having active data management by users (Rittinghouse and Ransome,
2017). This present study is going to show some critical like positive and negative impacts of
social media and internet on the society, teenagers, businesses and studies. In the context of
positive sides it will show that it is making possible to all to communicate and get in touch with
any one. It helps students in their studies by providing any type of information’s. It will also
show that increasing use of internet and social media sites increasing crimes like bullying,
cybercrime, hacking of personal accounts etc. With the help of some measurement tools, people
can measure and identify risks and privacy which need to be taken for preventing themselves
from any crime.
Positive and negative aspects of social media on the internet
In the context of social media it can be said that it has changed the way of
communication and interaction with each other. There are several people including children who
make a great use of internet, and they spend a lot of their time on social media and internet.
There are several positives as well as negative impacts of social media on the lives of people and
activities and on the internet. As per the view of Mensah and Nizam, (2016) it helps students in
learning new things and make themselves update as what is going on in the market and the
society. By collaborating with others anytime, they can increase their skills and quality of
collaboration. They share any type of information’s quickly. They even do not need to attain
classes if they are not able to attain. For example: if a student is not able to go coaching and
schools then they can learn all those things which are being taught in classrooms with the help of
online notes. So, it can be said that it is beneficial in increasing skills and education point of
view.
On the other hand, Tamplin, McLean and Paxton, (2018) argued and said that social
media is having only few positive impacts on the education and having a lot of negative impacts
