Concept of management use in every business and company. Management is the art of doing
work in an organized manner with formally organized group of people. This report will explain
management of Arcadia group. Arcadia group is worldwide famous fashion brand. This report
will explain management structure and business function of Arcadia group and how marketing
function work with different department such as customer service, finance, and Research and
development (Kotler, 2019). This report also present different management functions such as
planning, organising etc. and also explain their responsibilities. In the end of the report it will
show talent management and organizational culture of Arcadia group and It also discusses the
role of HR with relation of talent management and define organizational culture.
1. MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE
Advantages and disadvantages of different types of organizational structures
There are different types of organizational structures that are being used by companies as per
their size and other factors.
Functional: It is somehow like hierarchical in which position starts with at the top and goes
down. Employees are positioned as per their skills (Bai and et.al., 2017).
Advantages
Team members feel self determined.
Suitable for all size of companies.
Disadvantages
Interdepartmental communication can be hurt.
Create reluctance within comopany.

Functional: It is somehow like hierarchical in which position starts with at the top and goes
