INTRODUCTION
Management is the way of monitoring, dealing and doing things effectively as well as efficiently.
This activity is required on the regular base for the long term success of any business, as as it is a
necessary method which includes all the practices and objectives that are done in accordance to
accomplish their targets and goals(Cusinato and et. al., 2021). Few of the contrary practices
which are there in it is planning, monitoring, controlling, decision making, organising all the
division of the organisation such as finance, human resource, information technology, research
and development. The following report will cover about the management structure and business
functions and the marketing function and its relation to business success. Moreover to this, it will
include management functions and how they manage a business and talent Management and
Organisational Culture.
TASK
Management structure and business functions.
Management structure or organisation structure is a method which shows that the method
in which several practices of the firm are guided to execute in accordance to accomplish its
objectives (Dinter, Marjanovic and Ariyachandra, 2021). It also involves the expectable method
for providing the data or information among various levels.
Advantage and disadvantages of the various types of business function :
There are various kinds of organisational structure which are mentioned below with their
advantages as well as disadvantage:
Line organisation structure – In it, the divisions are set systematically in accordance to the type
of their task. They are keen to communicate and concentrate on the respected line of their
divisions with vertical as well as direct relationship.
Advantage – Control, monitoring, obligation and work is broad and convenient.
Disadvantage – The essential leader or manager are full of it because of the obligation
and managing their whole division.
Hybrid Organisational structure – The structure separates the several practices in to various
division with the set of both division and functional structural practices. It is utilised in the
organisations which have broad and hard distinction of roles.
