INTRODUCTIONThe management is the process of planning, organising, leading and controlling resourcesof a company. The organisational management includes proper adjustment of setting values andrules of firm, designing of structures, arranging all resources and managing day to dayperformance. This assignment is based on Grace Food that is a food manufacturing companyestablished in 1922. This Report will discuss the key function of business that can help inpromoting image of organization. Study will describe effectiveness of structures in order to raisebrand image and overall profitability of the organization (Armstrong and Taylor, 2014).PART 1 1. Discuss the key functions help to promote image of organization There are different key functions of a company such as human resources' management,marketing, finance and customers services which are helpful in promoting image of GraceFoods. Human Resources Management (HRM): The human resources are people those whowork in the firm and contribute to raise profitability of firm. It includes manpower, talents,labour, personnel and people. HR department is responsible for managing human resource of anenterprise. HRM is the strategic approach to effective management of workers and organizationwhich helps in gaining competitive advantage (Functions & Practices of Human ResourceManagement. 2018). HR designs work responsibilities in such manner so that employees canperform well and can contribute in maximizing performance of business. The purpose of HRMpractices in Grace Food is to increase productivity and effectiveness of employees. The basicobjective of HR is to acquire, develop and retain talents within business for longer duration.They have to design employee’s benefits, recruitment, training and development, performanceappraisals and manage pay roll system.HRM Practices: There are various practices in HR department of Grace Food are describes as below:Manpower Planning: The HR department is responsible to make plan for manpowerwhich is used for managing resources of Grace foods. For planning of manpower, HR is toexchanging information, arrange training of staff in the organization (Bailey and et.al, 2018). It isthe practice for taking reviews, plans of update and competency of profiles in workplace. Bymaking effective plan HR department can fill the gap of skills required in the firm. This would1

support in promoting brand image of the Grace Foods. It is helpful in increasing growth anddevelopment opportunities for company.Recruitment and Selection: The HR team has to design recruitment and selection processfor managing human resources in company (Bailey and et.al, 2018). HR is uses differentmethods for selecting new employees in organization. Therefore, HR team is adoptingappropriate method for selecting suitable candidates can contribute in growth and developmentof Grace Foods. The HR team ensures to recruit such candidate that has necessary skills andquality that is required to for particular job. Training and development: It is another practice of HR department in which humanresource manager of the Grace Food has to provide training to new and existing employees.Through training, HR tries to raise their skills, knowledge and abilities so that they can performwell. It helps in improving performance level of workers in the workplace (Breči and Simintiras,2016). Training and development is incorporated with manpower and succession planning ofemployees. It aids in promoting image, growth and development of Grace Foods.Performance Management: The HR team is measure performance of all workers. It isthe system that help in identifying training and development needs of staff members of GraceFoods. They are to manage presentation of all workers and they have to implement effectivestrategies for improving their performance in company. The execution of workers can support inattracting more consumers and making them loyal towards brand. Therefore, they are to usedifferent methods of training and development for improving skills and abilities. It helps topromote of the firm and raising its profit as well (Deery and Jago, 2015).Employees Relation: The HR team has to maintain relationship with employees inworkplaces. So that, all employees can communicate properly and work comfortably.Employees' relation is more helpful for working in a team. HR is organizing various kinds ofevents and programs for interaction of new employees with existing in workplace. It is helps toidentify an individual's performance while working in a team. It is also promotes image, growthand development of Grace Foods. Therefore, HR should maintain and develop relationshipbetween employees in the company (Human, Bick and Singh, 2016).Rewards Management: The HR team is plan and manage of rewards system ofemployees performance in the workplace. It is main responsibility of them that to give benefitsand to workers so that they feel happy and valued.. It is system in the Grace food that to provides2
