The pages 91-116 of the book deals with the sexual activities in the society, as well as
the sexuality of the male and the female gender. The gender defines sexuality since the
performing identities of “Masculinity” and “Femininity” form the social divides. The author
says that the gender and sexuality are the underlying truths of the human nature. The author
also argues that the sexuality is not something that is inborn, but is acquires and they are
socially organized. He deals with a psychoanalytic theory which talks of the unconscious
sphere of mind, that represses the sexual desires of a person, and has a conflict of ideas and
fantasies.
