Education can be refer to as a process of learning for a person to
acquire knowledge as well as understanding of some particular higher
objectives It is an essential medium for attaining necessary skills and
knowledge. However, in some parts of the country gender is still a
limiting factor for the individual to gain knowledge. Discrimination
on the basis of gender in education system is impacting both men and
women. It has been analysed that men are most likely to be literate as
compared to women in some parts of the country. This is mainly
because of some harmful practices such as early age marriage, gender
based violence, pregnancy and poverty prevents millions of girls to
access and enrolling to education.
Social class is also a major issue in educational system which
could limit access of poor class individuals in a society to learn and
gain knowledge or skills. Individuals from professional class tends to
attain high quality of education whereas, middle class students seems
to study only vocational subjects as their parents put less emphasis on
education. Lack of wages in poor families limit their allowance to
education, books and even internet.
