Employability Portfolio is a document that contains detailed related to personal information
that reflects true facts regarding existing skills, capabilities and accomplishment of individuals.
There are several reasons for which employability portfolio needs to be made such as many
employer demands for portfolio at time of interview in order to ensure various achievement made
by individual in his personal and professional career. Employer through employability portfolio is
also able to know about existing work related skills and capabilities of individuals thus decided
whether it is suitable for respective post or not (Crisp and Oliver, 2019). There are some importance

hinders in my professional career as front office manager. Therefore, I need to plans key steps and
strategies which I could used to improve my problem solving and decision making skills for
professional growth in future circumstances.
Opportunities: From the above analysis, it can be illustrated that good interpersonal and
communication skills will helps me to guide other individual the way particular task need to be
completed so that guest needs are satisfied. Thus, I have opportunities to become front office

Threat: The biggest threat that i identified is ineffectiveness to take crucial decision or find best
alternative that could be used to resolve problem or greivances of guest. Increase competition in
terms of number of candidates that have more skills and talent is another threats so in order to cope
with them I need to work on my existing weakness for bright future ahead (Marinković and Pešić,
2020).
4. Selection of particular job I want to pursue in Tourism sector
I liked to pursue my career as front officer manager in tourism sectors as it plays one of the
most important roles in hospitality and tourism sectors. It is a individual that is responsible for
welcoming guest or providing several facalities as soon as guest enter into hotel for having fun and
enjoyment. I have good communication skills that will helps me to impress guest at first visit only
and deliver qualitative services that are beyond thier expectancy level. I want to become front office
manager because it handle all functions of hotels such as booking rooms, providing services to
guest and resolving thier queiries so they are motivated to be part of firm in future circumstances. I
have also ability to coordinate or build good relationship with other people thus it will helps me to
retained customers satisfaction and contributed in growth and expansion of business (Booyens,
Motala and Ngandu, 2020). Therefore, all such are factors that motivate and inspired me to pursue
my career as front officer manager in tourism industry.

6. Identification of skills gap and few remedies that can be used to improve them
From the above analysis, it have been indentified that I am unable to take accurate decision
or have less capabilities to take right decision at right time. So, in order to enhance my decision-
making skills and problem solving ability, I have planned to read articles of highly experienced,
knowledgable people to know the way they resolved particular problem. I have also decided to
improve decision-making skills by effectively analysing situation, finding best alternative that can
be used to resolve problem (Sousa and Rocha, 2017). I will also takes tips from my seniors and top
executives regarding the way they are able to take correct and right decision within limited time. So,
that I can able to resolve greivances of subordinates and guest thus delivered best services to them
for growth and success of enterprise. At the same time I have also planned to work on my
technological skills in order to make better command and knowledge of recent technologies that are
used in tourism for delivering of services to customers.
