INTRODUCTION
This presentation is about the investigation of a case of injury which was happened in
night club. Here the steps which is going to be taken by me as I belongs to double crewed
uniformed response units is being explained in order to control the situations.
Steps taken for controlling the situations
I along with my parter is deployed to follow 999 call at Mardi Gras Nightclub in the
centre of city. As I was doing my night shift duty on Saturday, the communication centre has
received a call from a lady. She was saying that due to dispute between her boyfriend and other
person, his lover get injured as another male present in night club thrown glass on his face. So,
he was suffering from severe facial injury. Thus, ambulance has been send to the scene. No other
unit was free at that situation, so me and my partner has to do investigation on that. In order to do
the same, I am going to take below listed actions for controlling that situation :
When I reached at the accidental spot, I found there a large crowd outside the night club
and treatment of victim was going on. But the vast gathering was troubling the
ambulance crew in giving him emergency treatment. So, first step of me and my partner
is to remove those crowds as most of the people are drunk so this work is consuming
more time.
After removing crowd, I should talk to that woman who has called me and take all
information from her properly in order to understand the overall reason of this dispute.
I need to listen her carefully and ask her about another male who had done this crime. I
should confirm that is she know that person ?.
My next action will depend on her answer. If she would say yes then it will be the case of
personal enmity. But if say no then this case might be related with past activities that
occurred in that night club only. I should send my partner to catch that culprit as fast as
possible.
Then my next step should talk to doctors who are providing medical services to the
victim.
I should know the present condition of that male and get aware that after how much time,
he will become able to talk to me.

As victim come on conscious state, I should start my inquiry with him. I have to ask him
about the dispute in detail from starting to end.
Then If victim is needed further treatment then, my next job is to take him nearby
hospital.
After that I should submit this investigation report to the head of my unit and take actions
as per the order of superiors.
As head of double crewed uniform response unit has given the responsibility to catch the
guilty, I should prepare a team and go for searching him.
