Executive Summary
The aim of the assignment is to conduct a financial analysis whereby an investment portfolio will
be created for the purpose of creation of a diversified portfolio according to the risk and return
characteristics. Creation of a diversified portfolio to a cash maximised account are some of the
key facts that needs to be taken into consideration. An appropriate asset allocation would be
prepared for the purpose of creation of a diversified portfolio for the company. It is important to
consider various factor while considering the creation of the portfolio for the company.

Introduction
The investment policy statement for the company will be prepared for the purpose of the
creation of the portfolio whereby the financing needs from the perspective of the Sports
Organisation risk and return analysis will be prepared. Based on the liquidity, risk and return
requirement the portfolio will be created for the investment purpose. An asset allocation strategy
whereby a mix of 40% equity, 40% debt and 20% cash will be done for the purpose of creation
of the portfolio. Based on diversification, specific consideration in the field of various equity and
debt instruments from a variety of sector or industries would be taken into consideration for the
purpose of the analysis.
Research
Investment Policy statement is prepared by the company with the help of the various
characteristics of the fund in the form of the risk and return constraints for the company.
Research Analysis for the company in the field of the liquidity and the tax horizons were some of
the key facts that will be taken into consideration while preparing the investment policy
statement for the company. The investment policy statement or the IPS acts as a key guide for
the company in stating the overall strategy for the purpose of investment
(Institutional.vanguard.com 2019). An appropriate asset allocation in the form of diversified
portfolio for the investor will be the key fact that needs to be considered where a variety of asset
classes like equity, debt and cash would be considered. Diversification in the asset allocation will
be the key factor that will be helping the investment achieve better risk return trade-off
(Cfainstitute.org 2019).
