INTRODUCTION
IOT (Internet of Things) is network of physical devices and other items embedded with
software, electronics enabling to connect and exchange data. Present report deals with IoT
devices that are used in educational sector which are helpful in collecting and interpreting data in
the best way possible. IOT devices with aim, field, analysis, techniques of data collection and
storage will be provided. Along with it, key results and conclusion drawn from it will be given.
Pivot tables and graphs will be made for better representation of study. This will help to provide
efficient devices' usage by educational institutions.
Key uses of IOT in education
The ability for accessing devices via smartphone or by computer is known as IoT as
Internet of things. Generally, these devices are accessed on remote aspect. Basically, it is a
platform where everyday things are connected and directly embedded with software, electronics
and sensors to particular internet which helps in enabling to exchange and gather data. In the
present scenario, it is considered as very smart component in classrooms and colleges as it helps
in improving schooling and brings advanced fee to specific system and physical surroundings as
well. If internet of things is computational gadget which directly enables for creating smart
lesson plans, improves admission records, maintains tune of different critical resources and
designs safer campus.

Interactive gaining of knowledge: In the present era, it is not only combination of
pictures and texts but it is beyond that. Various textbooks are paired with websites which
comprises extra substances, animations, exams and films which directly support
mastering.
Poster boards: It is very difficult for comparing new multimedia boards with older
presentation boards. There are different internet gears such as Glogster which has altered
this ease and directly permit for creating digital posters without any issue by mixing
audio, text, photos, hyperlinks and audio.
Learning anywhere and anytime: It plays significant position for constructing network
via application of special system which is based on internet. There are different advanced
technology which helps in enabling academics for displaying scholars development. Iot
also helps in communication among teachers and students through extraordinary methods
by checking messages and updating events at same time.
Superior safety features: This application directly enforces superior technology answers
in training area and school rooms which might be very useful. It consists of audio
enhancement, emergency indicators, hearing impaired notifications and Wi-Fi clocks
which directly offers scholars with security aspect.
Substitution of chalkboards: In the present scenario, web based tools and packages are
directly educating scholars in more efficacy aspect.
Attendance monitoring system: It helps agency for decreasing time for publishing facts
of attendance and allows school officers for sending email to their guardians.
Challenges of IOT in education
For meeting the expectations of Students-: The internet access had been widened and students
are also involved with internet, so they are focusing on development of gadgets that are
involved in easy learning. It is assumed that more than 57% of students will use the gadgets
that for learning, so meeting demands can create problems for the company.

Security Issues of database of Students- As all data sets will be uploaded on server there may be
chances that the database may be hacked and it can be altered or can be used for some
unprofessional things. As reports suggest that cybercrime will increase in coming years.
Updation of Hardware of IOT regularly-: It is tough for any organisation about keeping the
software update of Internet of Things device time. There may be chance shat it may not be
updated and create server problems while using that IOT device. So, it may create problem
and disturbance while teaching.
Connectivity Issues are Big Problems-: The Connectivity issues is a major problem for
connectivity of smart devices as if there is no connection or speed is slow it may create
problem for IOT device to run in the education sector.
Rise In Expenditure-: Huge sum of money required by schools and colleges for purchasing that
IOT devices which will burden directly to the parents as the fees will be increased.
Major Source of Distraction-: This can be major source of distraction to students as because of
social networking that are been used by students so these things may become obstacles in
development of students.
Materials and methods
In order to assess the significance of IOT in the educational aspects data has been gathered
from secondary sources. Hence, for addressing research aim 30 articles pertaining to IOT in
education has been considered and evaluated.

CONCLUSION
By summing up this report, it has been concluded that IOT makes significant contribution in
educational aspects. It can be concluded from secondary data investigation that IOT facilitates
and enhances learning to a great extent. Internet enables students to get wider knowledge by
accessing various sites. Besides this, it can be inferred that concept pertaining to IOT imposes
challenges upon educational sector in terms of cost. However, it also offers several benefits to
educational sector by increasing the level of learning etc.
