Article 1: On IoT-services: Survey, Classification and Enterprise Integration
The paper “On IoT-services: Survey, Classification and Enterprise Integration” by
“Matthias Thoma, Sonja Meyer, Klaus Sperner, Stefan Meissner, Torsten Braun”, have been
associated with presenting the results of the recent survey that they have conducted related to the
usage of the services and the service oriented architecture with the IoT in terms of the projects
which are public funded and the research community. The paper in general has been associated
with identifying the lacks existing in the coherent definition along with classifying the IoT
services and the reason behind this is that it would be very much necessary for making
contributions towards providing service for science. The authors have presented a conceptual
view of the IoT services which are associated with allowing an easy integration of the IoT
entities with the SOA as well as with the science services. The paper identified that there are
certain differences between the services. The entire study had an objective of closing this gap.
Additionally the paper has also shown the usefulness of the entire abstraction for the BPMN
modelling and the integration of enterprise SOA.

that IoT is one of the latest technology which is associated with causing a rapid change in the
entire business paradigm. But still the influence of the IoT upon the manufacturing sector has
still not been explored fully, the paper is arguing the fact that the adaptation of the IoT along
with the cloud computing based enterprise systems would be associated with helping in
