INTRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence defines as the area of computer science which emphasises on the
creation of the intelligent software that work and act like human beings. They also completed the
task which requires the human intelligence like speech recognition, decision making, translation
between languages and visual perception. The creation of AI will lead to loss of human jobs
because smart robots take over the world and they work like human beings also complete the
task more efficiently and timely as compared to human beings but somewhere it makes the work
of human beings more easy in terms of mathematical work(Pueyo, 2018). For example
Computer can easily calculate the big calculation with high speed as compared to human. Essay
will high lights the positive and negative impact of Artificial intelligence on the humanity in
terms of threat and Aid for human beings.

towards the task that enhance the chances of successfully achieving the desired level of results.
AI system designed and trained for performing a particular task. A strong AI software is able to
find out the solution for unfamiliar task without a human intervention. It includes the robots and
machines which speak and thinks like human beings and accomplish the task effectively.
Artificial intelligence is not about designing a human brain but it all about creating a machine or
software which act and work like humans(Paul, Hui and Ting, 2018). It is based on the analytic,
knowledge, experience, problem solving and automation based on data.
Similarly, like every coin has two sides; there are positive as well as negative aspects
associated with every situation. When it comes to artificial intelligence, some say that it is a
threat to human beings while others say that it is an aid to human beings. According to world's
richest man Jack Ma, artificial intelligence is a threat to human being because they will snatch
the job opportunities of people in near future(Dignum, 2017).
The basic reason behind this is that artificial intelligence can completely replicate the
intelligence of human beings. Thus, an employer would prefer artificial intelligence rather than
human beings in order to reduce the cost of recruiting, hiring, training, compensating and
motivational cost incurred on human beings. This will not only help in increasing the profits of
the company but would also contribute a lot towards in eliminating errors that humans may make
as artificial intelligence doesn't make mistakes(Mesko, 2017).

While on the other hand, it is also said that artificial intelligence is an aid to human
beings as they would ease the lives of human beings in near future. It would bring ease in the
lives of human beings because it would contribute a lot in solving the problems based on its
knowledge, experience and data. Apart from that, Autonomous Process Automation say that
consider artificial intelligence as your helping hand rather than a threat because it is machine that
works like a human brain not a human brain(Diamond, 2019)
Furthermore, it is also said that it is not a threat to humans in terms of snatching away the
job opportunities because with the changing time lots of new opportunities for job are coming
up. Even it was found that there is lack of awareness regarding artificial intelligence in the mind
of people and this is evident from the fact that around 43% of the Americans are unaware about
artificial intelligence(Artificial intelligence in the real world, 2018). Hence, there is no threat to
human beings with regards to artificial intelligence.
Moreover, there is no need for human beings to consider artificial intelligence as threat
because they may replicate the working of the human brain but they wont be able to generate
innovative ideas or be creative because they are not a self-learning machine, they only do the
activities which are commanded to them. This is the major reason behind human intelligence
being on the top(Wu, Olson and Dolgui, 2017). The concern regarding artificial intelligence
replacing human intelligence has arisen in the mind of human beings because of large number of
thoughts which has in turn lead to over-expectation that these artificial intelligence are powerful
and would snatch away the jobs. Unlike in films, in real life there is no threat to human beings
with respect to artificial intelligence. The need has arisen that human beings have to think
outside the fiction world. Artificial intelligence is one of the serious matters which concerning
the people of entire globe because of its impact on the lives of human beings. It is a known fact
that people resist changes and hence the acceptance of artificial intelligence was also resisted by
the people. Huge amount of investment was made in order to carry out research in order to
develop artificial intelligence(Tan, 2016).
In-spite of that it is avoided by people because of various reasons. But there is no need to
resist artificial intelligence as it is not necessary that the use of artificial intelligence would
disrupt the jobs of human beings. It is not so because technology mostly plays a vital role and in
case of artificial intelligence, they only contribute towards assisting people so that there work
load would be reduced(Risse, 2019).

Hence, people should make their mind set that innovation is not always bad, it may even
be beneficial for them. This is evident from various examples of day-to-day lives. For example:
invention of wheel has only relieved the hard work of public. Experts believe that artificial
intelligence has the capability to transform the entire world because of its potential to be
revolutionary. It is also found that their would be lot of developments in artificial intelligence
which would only provide aid to human being and few such developments are discussed in detail
below:
For examples: it is said that soon their would be self-driven cars made available in the
markets which in turn would lead to driving a thing of past that is people can simply enjoy the
drives and relax without taking the pain of driving. Another important example of artificial
intelligence is that they would aid the human beings in shopping by acting as a shopping
assistant. This would help in bringing little changes in the way human beings shop and thus
bring a different perspective towards the way of living(Rech, and Bryan, 2017).
Hence, artificial intelligence would mainly provide aid to human beings in carrying out
their activities effectively and efficiently. Thus, there development should be promoted and
taken in the positive manner rather that resisting as they would only brighten the lives and bring
changes for the best.
But in certain cases, artificial intelligence may create a global threat on the lives of
human beings. This is evident from the fact that the reliance on artificial intelligence is
increasing day by day. This reliance is dangerous in areas of healthcare, finance and criminal
justice because of insufficient scrutiny. Hence, too much dependence on artificial intelligence
may lead to disrupting results and care should be taken to rely on artificial intelligence up to a
certain limit.
The current development of the artificial intelligence moving at an accelerating pace so
the present AI is advanced in the processing natural languages and playing various strategy
games as well as solving highly complexed situations. It plays an important role in the
companies which are looking to extract value from data by optimizing and also produce
actionable insights because AI system powered by the machine learning which enables company
to leverage their big amount of data to uncover patterns which would be impossible for any one
person tease out(Nunes, 2016).

Artificial intelligence is threat for the humanity because at present it posses big threat in
terms of replacing human from performing various jobs which results in higher level of
unemployment in the environment. It has automation process which is the main caused of the
such fear. If companies looked AI as an tool rather than a replacement then they can able to
achieve higher level of growth in the market place. It can also recruit the employees through
gathering essential information and also improve the productivity of the employee by performing
performance checks in many other things(Mesko, 2017). Artificial intelligence is refers to the
machines which able to perform the logical deduction activities and make decisions which is
based on the experience. In present scenario programmed machines such as robots can work and
react with high speed and accurately than a human operator in the business but in some cases it
is also produced some errors without human basis and institute to guide decision making at the
work place environment but these issue can be intensified if AI is designs into such system
which introduce independent motives that may be completely unpredictable in the business
operations. It also threats for humanity if it becomes dominated at the workplace(Johnston,
2018). If machines work smarter than humans, which can be results in the loss of control that can
be determinant(Mavroeidis and Bromander, 2017).
Artificial intelligence also improve the working life of the human beings because it
motivates to a person to exercise harder and in more targeted way. The good and bad effect of
the artificial intelligence is depended on how we are build and design as well as implement them
in the work place. It makes people more effective and improving their ability in the work. It will
also reduce the human efforts in the work because it minimises the complex work situation at the
workplace(İnan and Tamak, 2018). Through machines human can work effectively in terms of
complex mathematical calculation because it can easily solve the statistical problems by using
various formulas. It also performs various functions which can not be effectively done by the
human beings such as Arithmetical calculations. AI also take the faster decision along with less
biased activities. Artificial intelligence also plays an important role in solving the issues of
various medical procedures. Through improved technology it makes human beings better able to
see the world which enables human to interact with or change the world. AI also requires the
human skills for performing the job effectively. For example ATM reducing the time of
collecting cash from bank but at the same time human is needed for completing the procedures
of cash withdraw. In the human beings the ethical abuses are common and the AI ecosystem is

becoming aware about the requirements of the technical expertise to address the challenges

Artificial intelligence provides a true benefit because it can do the tedious task which are
not best served by the humans. It encourages a gradual evaluation in the job market with the
right preparation which will be positive. Employees were still work but they can perform more
efficiently with the help of AI system and the combination of the human and machine will
become the new normal in the workforce of the future. The development of AI in the society
also enhance the life style of the human beings and design more efficient business. In the
companies the task like answering emails and data entry will be effectively done completed by
the intelligent assistants. The ability of AI in terms of technology to solve the more problem and
innovate with a number of inputs which is beyond the capacity of the human brain(Diamond,
2019).

human beings from the job but at the same time it will also improve the quality of human works
at the work. It will give them the easiest way to work effectively and also solve the complex
problems such as mathematical calculation and statistical solution. At the end of the essay it has
