ISLAM MESSAGE Islam message It is human nature to follow the footsteps of another person. People need to be guided on how to live in harmony with other people. Continuous communication between people needs to be established. In Islamic religion, Hadith is one of the ways that is used in communication. Hadith consists of moral guidance, and religious law in the Islamic religion. Stories of general or secular nature, historical stories, and religious communications are also contained in hadith. In addition, it gives a comprehensive application of the Quran principles. After the death of prophet Muhammad the Muslim community split into two, the Sunni and the Shia. The Sunni, which the majority group, believed that a close friend, Abu Bakr, of the prophet Muhammad as the successful successor. While the Shia group forms the minority of the Muslim. Shi’a believes in Ali ibn Abi Tabin as being the rightful successor of prophet Muhammad. Ali ibn Tabin was the cousin to prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Attribute by Muhammad to deeds and oral traditions have been accepted by Sunni Muslims. The Shi’a Muslims discards the attribution by Muhamma (Herzfeld, 2007). The differences between the Sunni's and the Shi’a led to the formation of two sectarian variations. Eighty-five percent of Islam belongs to the Sunni sect while the remaining fifteen percent represents the Shia sect. After this split, it has not followed the golden rule of the hadith thus promoting division among the Muslim community. The golden rule principle, need to be practiced and shared throughout to all people in all religions. Political and emotional effects led to the split of Islam thus forming the two sectarians (Zamani‐Farahani, 2010). The Shai works together or along the government while the Sunn were against the government. This triggered conflict between the two groups.
ISLAM MESSAGE The golden rule is a moral principle in accordance with hadith that encourages Muslims to treat other people the way a person would want to be treated. Sahih hadith 19 insist on having true love toward others (Popovski, 2008). It’s expected that people should be living in harmony and love with one another. In AL-Muwatta hadith 22, prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) insist on people to be generous to their neighbor. Generous people do not allow other people around them to suffer (Voll, 2000). In contrary to the golden rule, most of the Middle East countries such as Iran, Iraq, Qatar, and others experience a lot of warfare. There is a lot of bloodshed in these countries. Cases of abduction are on the rise in the Middle East countries like Saudi-Arabia (Herzfeld, 2007). This makes it hard for someone to understand the hadith Islam message. Also, this has led to the sectarian division among the Muslim and also between Muslims and other religion. The hadith as per prophet Muhammad insist that there is no one has superiority over the other. The Sunni and the Shai have dismissed this since they both consider themselves to be superior over the other. This is an intentional act that has led to the difference between the groups. This difference has led to the war among the Muslim. According to hadith, there would be bloodshed and massacre of the Muslims. This has been witnessed where thousands of people have been killed (Martin, 2004). The massacre Srebrenica killing in the year 1995 of Muslims in Serbia town is an example of the fulfillment of the hadith bloodshed of the Muslims. The unintentional act of woman or anyone is not upheld by the Islam religion. Husbands are instructed Allah to always treat their women well. There are many women who are being harassed both physically and also psychologically (Herzfeld, 2007). From the Sunan Hadith 2443 care is to be provided to both the female and the male child. There are many cases of harassments in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan, this is against hadith. division has led to the unforeseen events of the death of the Muslims.
ISLAM MESSAGE As the world is continuously evolving, people are continuously gaining more and more knowledge. Similarly, people are continually seeking knowledge. Different learning institutions (madrasa) have been set up to educate Islam message. According to the prophets in hadith, it is a duty of every Muslim to acquire knowledge. From Imam Saiq in hadith, it’s the duty of every person to seek knowledge. Hadith advocates on the importance of knowledge acquisition. Hadith also encourages people to impart the Qur’an knowledge to other people. Having the necessary knowledge helps in communicating the traditions of the Jewish(Williams,2010).Thus,theacquisitionofhadithknowledgehelpsinthe understanding of the Islam message. According to Al-Muwatta hadith 19, the prophet Muhammad explains a belief as not being a liar nor a coward but can be a miser. This is against the trends of most of the leaders among the Islam religion. Anger is intentional that limits people in understanding the Islam message. This is evident in the Sunni and the Shi when the leaders were unable to have a way to solve their conflict on who to success prophet Muhammad after his death (Rassool, 2000). This led to the slit of the two. Hadith gives a number of explanations on charity. It explains the importance of giving charity. From hadith 496 the Prophet Muhammad explains that each charity is accompanied by goodness. Hadith also request every Muslim to give charity (Khan, 2009). Hadith also explains that If a person does not have something to give, one should work with his hands to give charity and also for the benefit of himself. If the individual is unable to accomplish, he should help the needy. In the Islam region, most people don’t perform charitable deeds. Hadith 13 focuses on more attributes such as Ghibta (jealousy) and Hassad (envy). Seeing something good that someone else possess and desires the owner to loss it so as to own it instead is called Hassad (Khan, 2009). Ghibta involves one admiring something from someone and one wants it without letting the person lose it. Envy and jealousy are intentional

ISLAM MESSAGE limitations that limit one to understand Islam. People should not practice envy toward other people. Similarly, brothers should avoid the exploitation of other people. This helps in growing the relationship with Allah thus help in the understanding of Islam (McLoughlin, 2005). Participating in a regular salat, five prayers done on a daily basis is one way of increasing one faith. This also makes one have a better understanding of the Islam message. Salat is an intentional limitation that helps in the understanding of Islam. The salat is an effective way to understand more on Islam. According to Ahadith, a person who misses the afternoon prayers or the salat is a person whose property or family has been destroyed. Through natural phenomenon and natural calamities like lighting, hurricanes, hurricanes, floods, volcano, tsunami, earthquakes and deformities in human are part of Allah to understand the Islam message. The Sunni believe the natural disasters are Allah Subhanahu way of punishing people who cross his limits. The Hadith describes the goods and all the evils happening in this world happens because of Allah’s will. These calamities and phenomena are the unintended intentions whose effects have unforeseen events by people. These phenomena later result in events that make people understand the Islam message. (Klusemann, 2012). In conclusion, although hadith has a role to play to spread the Islamic message, we find that there are so many factors limiting it. Hadith has led the limitation of the understanding of the Islam message. The hadith insists on showing love for one another and neighbors. Having genuine brotherhood assists in the understanding of Islam. The Islam religion has a number of people with hatred toward the people of the other religion. This hatred makes it difficult to understand Islam. It fails to spread the Islamic message since some Muslims act centrally of what is expected. These brings confusion among the
ISLAM MESSAGE nonbelievers. This is an intentional limitation to understanding the Islam message (Krafess, 2005). The division of Islam into Shia and Sunni have led to the War between the Muslims. The war acts as a limitation toward the understanding of the Islam message. In a community where there is warfare, there are no developments (Beekun, 2005). Warfare limits peoples understand various activities that take place in a community. Natural calamities and phenomena are Unintended limitations are which helps in distinguishing the limitation that is unintentional towards the understanding the Islam. Salat is also another factor that enables the understanding of the Islam messages. These are very important aspects that help in the understanding of the Islam message.
