I have review the article ‘How brands are capitalising on the ‘Markle Sparkle’ and
consumer trends to push sustainable fashion’. The main concern in the article was based on
sustainable development in the field of retail and fashion industry. The author has provided
details about the climate, which has forced retailers for sustainability. The retail industry has
pressurized from both industry leaders and consumers to be sustainable. In the case of fashion,
people follow celebrities for their fashion and other stuff. The author has included ethical
sourcing and climate change issues in the field of retailers. Besides, the business was based on
technological innovations (Baden-Fuller & Haefliger, 2013).
Sustainable development is the main concern of this article, which is necessary for
improvement. In addition, the article was based on the current situation in the industry because
of various issues and challenges. Moreover, climate change is a big risk for businesses in various
industries (Donovan, 2017).
Importance of issues
It is an important thing that a person can make a few things in the trends because they are
famous and popular in the industry. In addition, climate change is a huge issue in front of the
whole world. Moreover, people are aware of climate change, which can be reduced using the
proper management of resources and sustainability. In addition, technologies can be used for
sustainable development, such as business intelligence (Isik, Jones, & Sidorova, 2013).
Ethics must consider in the retail industry for managing climate change issues. Moreover,
it should consider most of the people that they secure the environment from various things, such
as sustainable development in the field of retailers. The retail industry should be created 100 %
recycled products, which can reduce the reason for climate change. However, climate change
makes a huge impact on the business as well as it is a huge risk (Kramer, 2013). Moreover,
ethical consideration is necessary for the retail industry to improve their business.
