Abstract
Biometric verification is a kind of security system which is capable to
find unauthorized access from the computer systems. Mainly, biometric
technology detects and recognizes the physical things and characteristics of
the consumers and compare with the stored data in order to identify the
authenticity of the consumers. In the banking sectors, biometric
authentication plays a significant role that has the potential to handle
security-related issues and manage the privacy of the user's accounts
effectively. This research mainly focuses on biometric authentication and
identifies the importance of this technology in the context of banking
sectors. The conducted literature review shows that the utilization of
biometric technology may help for blocking unauthorized access occurred in
the systems.

Introduction
Biometric authentication is a kind of security system which depend on
the unique organic physiognomies of the consumers to verify the
authenticity in the workplace. It is observed that biometric authentication is
an advanced technology which can be used as a security system in the
banking sectors because of their capability to handle unauthorized access
from the systems (Abhishek, Roshan, Kumar, & Ranjan, 2013). In this
generation, the use of biometric techniques are growing quickly as it helps
for protecting personal data of the customers from hackers and unauthentic
networks. In the context of the banking sector, the use of biometric
authentication is helpful that provide a platform to control and address
security-related issues in the computing networks. It is observed that the
biometric technique mainly compare biometric data with the stored data in
order to check the identity of the consumers in the banking sectors. Mainly,
biometric authentication is utilized for managing access to physical and
digital sources including rooms, computing systems and buildings.
