The report gives a quick introduction to Cybercrime and explains a few of the theories behind it. It explains how criminal activities are becoming more common as a result of digital crime. Cybercrime, electronic crime, and computer crime are all terms used to describe digital criminal acts. Computers, software, and the internet are used to execute computer crimes. Theories of digital crime: In chapter 3 of the text, two theories have been chosen that a researcher could use to explain the meaning of digital crime. The two theories are crime social learning theory and routine activity theory.
