Introduction
Social Media is a computer based technology which offers the different services for
the entertainment of users such as sharing information, ideas and thoughts with large number
of people. It is the best source and platform of interaction with the people across the world.
The people can share the pictures, videos, and documents to each other with the single click.
It is an easy way to connect with the people and enhance the knowledge of users related to
the world. But social media is also promotes the unethical values to earns the money due to
which many issues arises such as conflicts, immoral values and many others. Like in the case
of Christchurch video, Facebook viral the Christchurch video of showing attack.In this report,
the discussion is made on the unethical behaviour of social media. The Christchurch video
case will be discussed in this report in order to analyse the ethical issues.

Utilitarianism theory
It defines the actions that provide the happiness to the people in the society. It is the
responsibility of an organisation is to provide the services to consumer as per the requirement
and needs with the purpose of happiness (Mill, 2016). It is observed that the Facebook
perform its responsibility by spreading the video as the people also have curiosity to watch
this video (Bogle, 2019). But it does not bring the happiness because it people scared with the
action of shooters. It scared the people instead of bring happiness. Social media is failed to
bring the happiness that is why; it can be said that the step taken by the companies is states
their unethical behaviour.
