This impact has not only encouraged the business industry butalso the employees and consumers participating within. The disruption in digital technology andits marketing has brought some effective influence on the world, which includes standards ofliving, greater growth in workforce, improved efficiency in business and government agencies.Brining creative and variety of opportunities to the innovation marketing. Upgrading of thesedigital technologies has implemented and improved the productivity of the business and worker,along with the quality of product or services and reduce prices in Information Systems orInformation Technology are the social techniques that dealing with the technology andconsumers. Information technology generally involves an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)system in the designing and user interface system to provide the usable data and information tosupport the strategy, analysis of management, operations and decision-making process in therespective organization. An ERP system implementation serves every functional stage thus mayaffect the users at several different levels of the organization. Therefore, it is necessary toproperly manage the ERP system during implementation. This report suggests on ERPimplementation in a newly merged up holiday resorts ‘Monet’ serving customers loyalty schemenamed ‘MonetLoyalty’ for the development of operation through single IT system.
3IT MANAGEMENT ISSUESIntroductionAccording to the scenario there are group of five holiday resort planning to merge up inorder to deliver greater value to the customers and thus gain some business profit. On the basis ofthe financial resources requirement the joint organization decided to start a new loyalty schemenamed “MonetLoyalty” that incorporated a huge number of living quarters along Australia.There are alternatives provided like web site booking for the holiday resorts enabling thecustomers to view the details and book their preferable rooms accordingly. As assumed by themanagement of the organization this may benefit to operate the company website through asingle IT system along with implementing an insightful gateway like the ''Web 4.0 – level''making the empowered clients to self-deal with their records thus customizing their requirements(Zakaria, 2014). Implementation of ERP and IT in a organization together may turn profitable tothe organization by stopping the over pricing competitions, retaining the existing clients, creatinggreater customer satisfaction and many more. Providing critique in management decisionsThe senior management has finalized some of the decision initiating the ERP and ITsolution for the company’s betterment.
