Task 1Physical Requirements of the Current Server InfrastructureThe TelNet company needs 5 physical blade servers which is going to run E-commercesupport servers in 6 SQL databases. 50 Physical blade servers which has the capability ofhosting nearly 5000 clients using a virtual box in oracle. 15 Physical servers are required inwhich each blade server has the capability of holding 6 clients in type 2 hypervisor usingsame oracle Virtual box and finally they need 100 physical blade servers which are capable tohost 300 clients in type 2 hypervisor using the same oracle. Power Requirements of the Current Server Infrastructure of the TelNetThe company needs to buy 12 numbers of power suply circuits in 30A at the voltage ofabout 208v or 230v. It needs the power density of about 35W/ft2, 60W/ft2. The design per-enclosure has the density of about 1.1killowatt and enclosure of about 4 kilowatt. Security issues of the existing Server InfrastructureThe monitoring process of the traffic in the network is lacking. The updates in the antivirus files of the server is lacking. This virtualization is not feasible as the computing process is spread in wide.Supporting issues of the existing Server InfrastructureLogging in issues Backing up the deleted files or recovery during the natural disaster. The performance of the system is slow. The computer system gets turned off without any reason.Recognizing problems in some other devices like hard disk, USB.The speed of the internet is very slow.Running Cost of the existing Server InfrastructureThere are many servers in use, so it is sure that the running cost exceeds $ 25,000approximately for a month.Task 2In the process of virtualization, the low level program which is known as the hypervisoris used to permit many number of operating system simultaneously in one system(Zablah,Loureiro and Gómez Folgar, 2015). It uses the firmware for allocating the resources in thereal-time systems. There are two types of hypervisors (shareVM- Share insights about usingVM's, 2017).

Type 1 HypervisorType 1 hypervisor is native hypervisor which is being operated on the top most layer ofthe hardware of the host system. It is used to manage the operating system of the guestsystems (Virtualization Software, 2017). Examples : Xen,Oracle Virtual Box, oracle VM for x86 etc.Type 2 HypervisorThe type 2 hypervisor is called the hosted hypervisors. These hypervisors operates onthe top of the operating system of the host. Type 2 hypervisors will be loaded insisde theoperating system. It is managed by the OS and this is less efficient than the type 1 hypervisor.Examples : Parallel Desktop for Mac, QEMU, VMware Player etc(Virtualization Review,2017).Task 3Industry Vendors for type 1 Enterprise VirtualizationVMware vSphere/ESXiThe topmost leading vendor for type 1 hypervisor is VMware vSphere. They hadproducts with free edition and they had also released 5 editions commercially. It has thefeatures like memory overcommitment, fault tolerance and vMotion(Virtualization Software,2017). Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Hyper-VThe Microsoft windows server 2012 Hyper-V is the second leading industrial vendorfor type 1 enterprise virtualization. This is one of the top 3 tier-1 hypervisors. It is availablein both free and commercial editions. They had released 4 commercial editions. It offersmigration in storage and dynamic storage in memory(Virtualization Software, 2017).Red Hat Enterprise VirtualizationRed Hat is a commercial vendor of KVM type 1 native hypervisor. It makes use of theSPICE protocol and Virtual Desktop Server Manager. It has the features like bonding innetwork, VLAN, Live migration and it is capable of hosting upto 2 TB ofRAM(Virtualization Software, 2017).KVMKVM - Kernel Based Virtual Machine is the type 1 native hypervisor which is based onthe Linux operating system. It also offers management tools such as virtual machine managerof Redhat(Virtualization Software, 2017).
