Executive Summary
The activities involving the designing, creation, managing, supporting and
delivering the life cycle of IT services in an organizational setting is known
as IT Service Management (ITSM). Identifying the resources present inside
or outside the business that can be very much effective to incorporate IT
project governance is one of the top priorities while going through any
kind of organizational change. The lack of any sort of performance
evaluation reports for the stakeholders working with Information systems
is one of the prime reasons behind numerous IT issues in a business
environment. This report shall be focusing on how management issues
and issues of IT projects are addressed using ITSM.

Introduction
Project governance is the set of policies, functions, regulations and
processes which define the ability of an organization to have complete
control of the IT projects is known as IT project governance. Commercial
business organizations such as the health industries must be
incorporating IT project governance plans to prioritize their business
resources and maintain the budget, scope, and schedule of each of their
ongoing projects. This report shall be evaluating the significance of IT
project governance plans in Worthington Health Care Systems (WHCS).
Organization goals
The organizational goals of WHCS are listed as followings:
 To improve the existing services which are provided to the
consumers.
 To maintain the scope, schedule and budget of the ongoing projects
in this business.
 To continue regaining the confidence of the customers of the
business so that the business area of this organization can be
extended and more project requests are earned from them.
 To address the Enterprise Project Management Services so that the
visibility of the resources of this organization can be enhanced.
 To maintain the consistency of the clinical processes and the
information of the business.
