IT-Services2 Introduction Information technology (referred as IT) is beneficial for all the areas including healthcare. Many operations are requiring IT-Services for management in healthcare industry. IT provides many feasible solutions of different issues of management of daily routine in healthcare department. Good Hope Hospital (GHH) is providing different facilities to patients, such as surgical, orthopedic, Neurological, medical and many others. It has 300 beds in 15 units. Each unit has 10 to 24 beds. GHH has 200 nursing staff members for caretaking of patients as well as other works. It has 90 nursing support staff for helping nursing staff works. GHH organizational structure is having different facilities currently, which are eMAR, ADT, CPOE. This report will explain use of information technology in healthcare field. GHH is already uses different technologies for management of different works, such as ADT, eMAR, many others. It will describe uses of cloud computing for enhancement of current technologies that is more beneficial for GHH as well as patients. Mission and vision of Cloud Computing in Healthcare GHH is having an objective that they are provide best services to their patients as well as employees with the help of information technology services. They want to introduce new concepts of IT-Services in their healthcare system(Goh, Gao, & Agarwal, 2011). An admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) system is used for providing many services to the patients as well as hospital. It is a backbone system for hospital as well. It is types of business systems that are used in healthcare department. It has included four types of business system, which are ADT, acuity, scheduling and finance. It is used for many benefits, such as quality improvement, facility for financial payment and encoring best practices for nursing staff. Barcoded Medication Administration (BCMA) is used for avoid human error in hospitals. It uses barcodes for management of distribution of prescription medication(Omachonu & Einspruch, 2010). Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) is a system that allows providers to place specific order electronically though computer system. Electronic Medication Administration
IT-Services3 Record (referred as eMAR) is a system that replaces paper works. It provides many facilities with increased efficiencies during med-pass. Stakeholders of GHH are patients, doctors, nursing staff and many more. They are helping in decision making for future services. There are few contrarians in all these services, which are networking and internet connectivity. Because of no connectivity, computer systems are standalone. Therefore, everyone should access the data from only single place. Cloud computing is an alternative for those constraints, which are having GHH. It will provide networking as well as internet services for data exchange and processing. Risk and mitigation strategies ADT, eMAR, and CPOE systems are providing helps to the GHH for handling financial and monitoring of patients and employees. However, many services are not full established. There are some problems in those systems, which are as: 1.They are not having online connection 2.Dependency of the systems 3.No online database system 4.Anyone can access the data 5.Security issues

IT-Services4 Source:(Oh, et al., 2015) All the systems are providing help to the nursing staff for measurements of different conditions. Cloud computing services make it more beneficial for nursing staff and patients. I propose cloud computing services for managing different data and services of the eMAR, ADT and CPOE system(Pai & Huang, 2011). There are many advantages of cloud computing in healthcare system. Above figure provide overview of cloud computing-based Healthcare Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). In this diagram, CDS: Clinical Decision Support, OSS: operational support service, BSS: business support service. Below diagram is providing overview of a cloud-based Clinical Decision Support Service (CDSS). It can be useful for GHH for handling all the problems that are facing by them in present time. IT-Services5 Strategic alignment Many security issues are faced by healthcare system. Some of these issues can be solved through cloud-service. All the systems are facing a problem that is connectivity of all the system. Therefore, it is require implementing cloud computing for resolving such type of problems (Wamba, Anand, & Carter, 2013).Data mining is also used in the system with the help of data warehouse(Koh & Tan, 2011). IT-Services7 Review of project Cloud computing is providing help to the all the systems that are already established in the GHH. All the above sections are beneficial for new system of healthcare department. Many issues are mitigates through cloud computing services, such as IaaS, SaaS and PaaS. Nursing staff can manage different things with help of technology in a better way(Parente & McCullough, 2009).All the departments are requiring data sharing. Therefore, cloud computing is the best solution for all the services. This project will improve efficiency of the system as well as system capabilities. It is having much scope for GHH future growth. Finally, it is concluded that different issues of previous systems are resolved through cloud computing services. Scope of the project GHH will have many benefits from the cloud computing services for their different processes, such as appointments and medications. It will provide many advantages for their business, such as competitive advantage. It will also fulfill demands of the patients. It will make all processes easy for all the stakeholders of GHH.
