Q.1 Describe theories, methods and techniques which relate to the design and development for
TWO of the following IT solutions listed below:
 Mc Afee
McAfee is also known as McAfee associates. It was founded in 1987. Headquarters are established
in California, San Jose and united states. McAfee is applicable to block and identify both
sophisticated and simple threats such as ransomware, crypto ackers, trojans, spyware and viruses. It
is the leading organization in online protection across the wordmaker emphasize not only protecting
device but also protecting people. McAfee's solution adjusts client's requirement and enable
customers to experience online life with confidence. It manufactures best antivirus equipment’s and
has superb malware detection rates. It has also some other chrematistic features such as VPN and
password managers. It is known for customer support. McAfee is considered as the best Antivirus
tool by the different security professionals of cyber world as it has excellent malware detection
rates, effective features like managing the passwords and VPN so as to provide the customer
support. it is also easy for the setting up and convenient in use (Baker, 2022).
 MS office
Microsoft office is referred as the suite of various applications which are designed and
created to help with the productivity and completion of tasks and activities on the computer.
It can also be helpful in creating the documents and editing them too. The Ms office also
helps managing the data through the spreadsheets and databases. It is popular because of its
excellent features, easy to use, accessibility, interactivity and also the adaption across
various operating systems which has chosen Ms office as the most common and opted tools
all around the world.
This application can be used in writing various fonts and sizes with the uses of tables,
borders and bullet format which can avoid the obstacles in effective working and increases
the productivity as well. It also allows the individuals to create the wimple word processing
and documents such as, letters, reports including the adding colour option and clip art. There
are a lot of applications of Ms office which has unique feature and purpose so as to add the
specific value for its users. Such as, Microsoft word is used to create documents, Microsoft
PowerPoint is used to make presentations and outlook is used to manage the e-mails and
calendar.

DSS (Decision Support System)- Taking effective decision is very important for any business, it
helps the company to achieve their goal more efficiently. Decision support system beneficial for
saves time and build confidence during the organisation decision- making. When the company use
this system, so they assist from its data analysis and ability to identify patterns. Different Decision
support system have an option to streamline their productivity and helps the company for decisions-
making at work. It is type of information system that benefits to analyse the data to support
executive, mangers and employees in company decision- making. These system asses the huge
amounts of data, find the patterns and analyse the effects for business decisions. DSS uses the
current and past data to predict the future trends, that reduce the risk and saves time. This
information systems encourage the company in decision- making activities that require in judgment,
willpower and categorisations of actions (Bhaskar, Tiwari and Joshi, 2020).
i) Along with it assist by the mid- and high- level management of the company to
examining the huge volumes to unstructured data and accruing the information that can
help to solve problems in decision – making. The main purpose of support system to
produces the detailed information report for the meeting and analysing data, which is
used for a planning department like operations departments which is used for collect the
data and creates the report that can be require by the manger for the decisions- making.

ii) ESS (Executive Support System)- This software is used by the companies and enables
to the top management to take batter decision in favour for the organisation, this data is
related to the departments such a billing, accounting, staffing etc. this data is essential
for the company growth, they support the company to maintain their books and making
strategy planning for future. It helps to save the time and spend more time on suggesting
and decision making by providing only the require data for example- market report,
financial reports and information.
iii) TPS (Transaction Processing System)- It is the process system which support the
company to processing system for the transactions which is involving the collections,
modification of transition data. This system allows the customer to give confidence
during the time of translons. It is the stable databases are helps to reduce the risk for loss
the user information by doing the network failure. For example, employer records, order

iv) MIS (Management Information System)- It is the planning system which helps the
company to collecting, storing and disseminating the data in the form of information. It
also helps reduce the risk to improve the financial health of the business, MIS produce
data- driven the report that helps then company to make right decisions at the right time.

KSM (Knowledge Management System)-This system is helping the company to managing their
information for supporting to capture and storage the data. It includes the collection, distribution
and general management the all information that posses by the company. Along with it carries out

effective and efficient manner. It helps to power the knowledge in management process to creates

Q.3 What is Globalisation? what are the effects of IT on Globalisation.
The term globalisation refers to the spreading and flow of financial products, goods , technologies
and information including various jobs across national borders and on different borders and
cultures. The Globalisation also defines the interdependence of various nations around the globe
and worldwide. Corporations in different developed nations can gain various competitive advantage
through globalisation.
There many corporations which gains the competitive advantage on multiple fronts through
globalisation. The business and organisations can reduce the operating costs of their business by
manufacturing abroad as they can opt various benefits and advantages such as, buying of raw
materials more cheaply because of the decrease and reduction in tariff policies and other tax
policies which can offer a great access to the millions of new customers. globalisation is a social,
cultural, political and legal phenomenon which is considered as an important term nowadays as the
people, technology and services are changing at a fast phase. Globalisation is not a new concept as
it is used by various companies so as to expand their business on a broad term and also by gaining
the various benefits by which they can enhance their position in the market.

which can affect the modern world. The companies will not be able to exist if the new upgraded
technologies, telecommunication and infrastructure were promoted in an effective and efficient

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The term information technology is referred as the use of computers, storages, networking and other
tangible devices. IT is used in various business activities and tasks and operations. The IT
department makes sure that the organisation's systems, networks, data application and connect the
functions properly. The IT team handles three major areas such as deploying and maintaining the
business applications, monitoring and optimising and troubleshooting the performance of
applications, services and infrastructure. The IT also oversees the security and governance of
applications. Information and technology increase the storing and gaining of big information
quickly with the help of various hardware and software systems and networks at a reasonable cost.
Information technology also enables the combination and storage of data to create the new

increase their effectiveness and efficiency for the betterment and growth of their business all around
the world.

disadvantages.
Digital infrastructure is a framework of those elements which helps to providing the support to the
urban management, it is the series of elements which ae crucial. Blockchain technology and
transparency is the example of digital infrastructure blockchain system helps in data registry and
facilitate the transparency, block chain is popular because of its impeccable security features and
transparency. It is the system which record those transactions which is made in bitcoin or another
cryptocurrency, they maintain the several computers which are linked in a network. There are some
advantage and disadvantage of block chain.
Advantage
 Data integrity- Blockchain technology
are made in such way that any adds blocks
are not be edited, it is very secure and safe
they provide the ultimately high range
security.
 Traceability – It is irreversible audit trail,
which helps to making it easy and
available to trace any count to the chain.
Disadvantage
 Cost- Crypto currency demand is high,

Mobile telecommunication is a cellular network which provide the wireless communication and
internet broadband services. This technology allows the people to communicate with others in
different location without any physical communication. For example, mobile phone, hand phone,
two-way radio telecommunication and so on.
