This project management plan outlines the implementation of SAP platform for Dai-Ichi's Oceania operations. The project is divided into various phases and will use SAP Cloud Instance and JIRA software. The deliverables include providing a cloud-based SAP instance to Dai-Ichi Australia and reliable Amazon cloud resources to SAP instance.

Project Management Plan:
Project Description:
Dai-Ichi is a renowned organization in the mining industry in the whole world. The
organization has taken the decision of rolling out the SAP platform for the operations of Oceania.
The SAP instance will be deployed in the cloud infrastructure. The decision is taken to facilitate
the SAP instance management out form Europe. Amazon will be providing the cloud resources
for the SAP instance of Dai-Ichi Europe. The first SAP instance will be implemented at Dai-Ichi
Australia. The management of Dai-Ichi has taken the decision of dividing the whole project into
various phases. Five persons will be responsible for complete the project. The project can use up
to twenty SAP infrastructure. The software that will be used in developing the project are SAP
Cloud Instance and JIRA. The project is an important part of Dai-Ichi’s business growth. The
organization has undertaken the project to increase collaboration among international offices.
Objectives: The objectives of the project are as following.
i. To facilities the communication among offices in different countries
ii. Providing a cloud based SAP instance to Dai-Ichi corporation
iii. To facilitate the business of Dai-Ichi
iv. To complete the project within deadline
v. Providing a technological solution to Dai-Ichi that can be used in future growth
Deliverables: The deliverables of this project are as following.
i. Providing a SAP instance to Dai-Ichi Australia
ii. Reliable Amazon cloud resources to SAP instance

iii. Completing the project within the assigned financial resources
iv. Providing a technological infrastructure that can be facilitating the
communication
High Level Technical Requirements: The technical requirements of the project are as
following.
i. X 86 Image: The image will be used in the Amazon Cloud Infrastructure
ii. SAP Cloud Instance: The SAP Cloud Instance will be licensed for the Australian
office at first
iii. JIRA: Jira is a proprietary issue tracking product, developed by Atlassian. It
provides bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management functions.
Project Management Controls:
The processes of project controls are as following.
i. The project strategy is developed at first. In this strategy methods will be defined
for improving the project outcome
ii. Scheduling will be done for development, maintenance and update
iii. Project cost will be estimated. This cost will include controlling and engineering
costs
iv. Risk management approach will be developed in the project. This will provide an
upper hand to the project manager to control the potentials risks and outcome of
the risks
v. Project documentation controlling is a crucial factor
