In this document, we will discuss the New Hospital Information System which covers the following departments in Royal Adelaide Hospital: inventory and laundry management, financial accounting, activity planning, and resource allocation management. Also, we include a patient administration system and laboratory information system(LIS). Implementing a new information system will bring a lot of benefits to the Royal Adelaide hospital but before benefits could be obtained and enjoyed there are a lot of challenges to overcome.
