measuring the extent of the customers and the potential serving customers. It would generally be
helping in collecting the relevant data which would be providing assistance to the apex level
management in making decision related to the business. It would also be helping the organization in
understanding the needs of the customers so that they could be asserting their service according to
that. It would also be aimed for understanding the extent of the market and its condition.
