INTRODUCTION Warrior means four types social class such as merchant, farmers, artisans. The social and military warrior features of every country is differentiated with each nations. In order to that, this report will assess similarities between Tokugawa Japan and Medieval Europe's social and military warrior features. It will justify that agree and disagree with this statement. MAIN BODY Similarities between social and military warrior features of Tokugawa Japan and Medieval Europe Social and military warriors feature of Tokugawa Japan: In the Tokugawa period recognised only four social classes warriors(samurai), farmers, artisans and traders and mobility between the four classes was officially prohibited. Military government of Tokugawa based in new capital city at Edo(present day Tokyo) accomplished unparalleled control over the nation lasting more than 260 years.Through exceptional social control over population for accomplishing government's unexampled longness(Bennett, 2017). The era of Tokugawa rule was time of peace when warriors were increasingly called upon to fulfil bureaucratic roles. Military warriors features of Medieval Europe: The history period of military action of the middle ages. Technological, cultural, and societal developments had forced dramatic transformation in the character of military action. The history of Knight was mounted and armoured soldiers the frequently connected with nobility or royalty from changing military tactics and role of warriors. In terms of defence, middle ages look of castle in Europe which then spread to western Asia(Anderson and Hull, 2017).Professional historians generally centres on military affairs that had leading effect societies that includes and outcome of conflicts while unpaid scholar often take larger interest in the detail of conflicts, equipment and utilize of uniform. From above features, I am disagreed with this statement that there are no similarities between social and military warriors of Tokugawa Japan and Medieval Europe. Because of, in the Tokugawa, there are four social class samurai, artisans, traders and framers. On other hand, Military action of Europe is different because the impact of its history on societies, their culture, economies, modification local and global relationships. Military history of Europe is humanities discipline. The Tokugawa peace was damaged only rarely and briefly prior to the violence that 2
enclosed the Meiji Restoration, it also called as Meiji renovation, revolution, reform, renewal was an event that refunded applicable imperial rule. Japan requested many military missions in order to assist to changed its armed forces(Gill, 2016). The peace and stability of Tokugawa time and economic development is parented set the step for speedy modernization that took place after Meiji Restoration. The discipline of military action is changing, modification with development as much of subject areas as societies and companies that create utilize of it.This is related to change in military forces and pace of technological development that had taken place during time period called as Industrial Modification. CONCLUSION This report has summarised that different features of military and social warriors of Tokugawa and Medieval Europe. It can be concluded that there are no similarities between both the military action that includes history of Tokugawa and Europe. 3
