INTRODUCTION
Jesus Christ is designation of Jesus of Nazareth who was itinerant Jewish prophet in
northern Isreal, furthermore he preaches imminent intervention in human affair by god of Jew.
While the Gautama Buddha is popular know as Buddha that has been regarded as founder of
world religion of Buddhism. Moreover, he has taught for around 45 years and build large number
of followers that abide to all teaching and learning which has been taught by Buddha to its
leaner. So, this report has covered crucial information pertaining to the way their teaching and
stories has influence adherent behave. So, this report is justification of the statement that both
“Jesus Christ and Siddhartha Gautama are the foundations of their faith”.

Siddhartha Gautama or Buddha has been born around 567 B. C. E in an small kingdom of
Himalayan foothill who has great religion belief. Buddha has emphasis on enlightenment on one
own and it has spent 45 years of preaching and teaching. It was a teacher, spiritual leaders and
philosopher that has founded Buddhism. Thus, Siddhartha Gautama has been renown all around
the world for “life changing teaching” and its quotes also acts as source of inspiration for other
individuals. For example: One of the famous quotes said by Siddhartha Gautama is ““Every
human being is the author of his own health or disease” which means that every person is
responsible for its good or bad health (Tatu, Church and Nicolaides, 2021). As it by doing
regular meditation, exercise can stay healthy and fit for longer time frame. Moreover, it has also
provided a complete lesson of meditation likewise concentrate on breath as it acts as bridge
between the mind and body of the person. Thus, the individual feel more relaxed and peaceful
and able to effectively handle the situation.
Buddha has suggested eightfold path such as right understanding, right though, speech,
livelihood, action, efforts, concentration and mindfulness that needs to be followed by
individuals in their life. Such as, the Buddha has explained that right understanding and thought
helps in effective understanding and have a right thought to resolve any problem. Each and every
individual must have speech of right or share its view, ideas and opinion to other, take action as

per their perspective and point of view (THIS, 2020). Furthermore, it should also have right to
live a perfect lifestyle, make more and more efforts and do meditation in order to life a healthy
and happy lifestyle. Therefore, it can be stated that all these eight areas that individuals need to
abided in their personal life to have more success.
Buddhism has suggested three ideas that are collectively known as “Three treasures” or
“Three jewels such as Buddha (yellow jewel), dharma (blue jewel) and sangha (red jewel). The
four noble truth: first wheel of Dharma written by Siddhartha Gautama, which states that
there has been involvement of suffering in human life in one or another form. Furthermore, it has
specified that there are two common reason for suffering that is ignorance and carving that start
because of mistake belief. Along with it, Siddhartha Gautama said that problems are only
temporary and it can be easily resolve (Edwards, 2021). It has also emphasis that individuals
through practicing the meditation, following disciplined life and developing the wisdom is able
to get freedom from all suffering and can enlightenment their respective life. All these teaching
provide by the by Siddhartha Gautama has helped in making life of people more
comfortable and easy as they are able to follow and live happier and ethical life (Munyua, 2021).
Therefore, the four Nobel truth mainly focus that life is suffering and each and everybody has to
suffer one or other time. Craving is main cause of suffering so in order to end the same
individual need to be aware from the craving.
Another thing that has been taught by the Siddhartha Gautama is Threefold Way
such as Ethics, wisdom and meditation that are key elements of progressive
path in an individual life. Likewise, the Buddha in its teaching has stated that
preaching is to live a life in which person are aware of harmful or negative
consequence of particular action. So that alternation options can be used or the action
can be avoided so that no harm can be cause to other individuals. Second things that has been
taught by the Siddhartha Gautama in its threefold way is that meditation is the best way to reduce
stress, enhance concentration and enlightened the journey (Munyua, 2021). Thirdly it has taught
that wisdom is one of the effective means of developing direct understanding of the truth or to
have vision of life.
The three great truth has been find out by the Buddha such as Nothing is lost in the
universe, such as it has specified that if someone destroy something then we ourselves destroy

us. Moreover, the dead leaf also turns into the soil so nothing is lost in universe and it always
come back. Everything changes is another universal truth as it is continuously changing there
are many changes that impact on individual life. He stated that life is like a river it goes on
flowing and flowing so people also have change or adapt themselves as per the current situation
and circumstances. The third universal truth that has been suggested by the Siddhartha Gautama
is law of cause and effect which is known as karma (Takanashi, 2019). Thus, it wants to say that
nothing in this world happen unless we deserve the same so we receive exact what we have done
in our previous life or circumstances. So, as per him our action and though helps in determining
what type of life we are going to live in future circumstances. So, in short it can be concluded
that Siddhartha Gautama has teach many useful and important things that has influence other
people to follow the same to have happier, healthier and more peaceful life.
Jesus has been regarded as one of leader because it always speaks the truth without any
fear of repercussion thus it main motivate is to share the necessary information instead of getting
political support. Likewise, Jesus has called Pharises as” brood of vipers. Moreover, the Jesus
has taught about the golden rule of Christian pertaining to morality and the way or manner in
which other individuals need to be treated. Thus, it states that they need to treat other in manner
in which they like to be treated (Mark, 2018). In addition to, Jesus has taught about the life after
the death, that it specified that those who live good live and follow to its teacher will be
rewarded with eternal life. While in contrast, those who commit sin will receive eternal
punishment in the hell. So, it has taught people about the way they can select the path of eternity
which is east and best for them. It has lay emphasis that people should act in moral manner in
their life not only to receive the eternal life but also want to have good deeds in order to satisfied
their respective wants and helps others.
Moreover, it can be stated that followers have been influenced by the teaching and
learning of the Jesus as it has specified that the overall behavior of people will be judged on
basis of their act thus they will be punished if they have not follow the same. It has also taught
about what will happen at the end of time likewise it is upon the individuals where they will end
up after the death. As it overall depends upon they the manner in which they live their lifestyle
through respecting each and other individuals that are living in the society (Saleem, 2019). Most
of its follower have find a plan of happiness, redemption in the Jesus Christ teaching that
contribute in developing faith in Christ. Jesus specify its follower to not to reject hatred rather

than just forgive them and even love the enemies thus it motivate people to change their heart
and action. Rather than fight with each other and having several issues, must focus on living
together peacefully. Likewise, in its teaching of In the Sermon on the Mount it has provided
eight important teaching that are known as Beatitudes that means “exalted happiness. Thus it
clearly states the blessing which a individuals receive through righteous traits.
It has also taught lesson pertaining to faith, kindness and god ability in order to make great
things for most humble offering. So, through both action and miracle it is able to motivate its
follower to follow its principle and instruction. In another words, the teaching of Jesus has been
found in much more than its sermons and parable. Along with it, the Jesus itself is the personal
example as it has followed principle of humanity, obedience and love. Moreover, the Jesus have
parable that have powerful teaching method as they contained several layers of meaning that can
be understand in different manner on the basis of sensitivity of reader and spiritual preparation
(Clark, 2018). In addition to this, it has been find out that the Jesus has said that “whoever wants
to be my disciple must have to deny themselves and take up cross and follow him. Jesus is
playing or taking important steps pertaining to the eternity and specified that the reward of
journey is great despite it may be rough. The main aim of Jesus is to offer people eternity that is
full of joy that is he want that people more should more heartily, strength, mildly and soul devote
it to him in order to have more peaceful and better lifestyle.
Jesus has given more value to people or its followers as it specified that what all take to
have relationship an individual need to do for its overall benefits. So, it does not need support
rather it wants to have company with ourselves i.e., starting from Earth and continuing till the
eternity. People has also feel that the love of Jesus was relentless or have great love for humanity
that helps in influencing and motivating other people to follow the Jesus principle. Jesus like to
spend time with people that are sick, weak, and are deemed as” worthless” with an motivate to
support them. So that they can feel valuable or important while living in the society (Sofroniou,
2018). At the same time, it can be stated that Jesus specified that it does not forget people in
order to be nice in front of society rather than it forgive to make them free. The main motivate
was that it does not want to block people from being living its life to the fullest. So, as per its
perspective forgiveness is key to success thereby each and every individual must follow in its
life. Therefore, all these set of principles has motivated or influence people to follow the same.

From the above report it can be concluded that both Jesus Christ and Siddhartha Gautama
are the foundations of their faiths and they have played important role in influencing adherents or
followers that belief in them. Both have written unique and attractive stories, quotas that has
helped in inspiring people to follow the same in their daily life to enjoy each and every
movement. Likewise, the Jesus has more focused on speaking truth and building relationship
through valuing people opinion or respecting them. While, Siddhartha Gautama stated that life is
all about suffering and carving is main cause of suffering so there is a path that could be
followed by people to stay away from all these. Therefore, it can be summarized that Jesus Christ
and Siddhartha Gautama through their stories and teaching have tried to make life people of
better thus they are influence to follow them.
