The need and desired goals of the job are to be chalked out by consulting the HR
department and the top management board. The extent of the employee involvement, time
taken to do the tasks, and the level of difficulty are to be considered. The job analyst is to be
selected and required training plan is to be made. After the job analysis plan is prepared, it
needs to be communicated to the members of the organization. Data is to be collected from
employees through surveys, interviews, observation, meetings (Morgeson, Brannick &
Levine, 2019). The reports are to be framed as per the data collected, then verified by the
decision making bodies to frame the job description and job speciation reports.
The job analysis assist in:
Human capital planning to assist in demand and supply of labor
Recruitment and selection methods
Training needs analysis and career development opportunities
Succession planning and replacement chart making
Designing the performance management system as per the job tasks.
Method of Job Analysis (Suggested)
The functional job analysis procedure is chosen to be the most effective solution.
It is a form of qualitative assessment dividing the tasks as per the functional level rates
through:
a. Functional level where the tasks will be allocated as per data, people and time.
b. Functional orientation where the time taken to perform the tasks are considered
(Fine & Getkate, 2014).
