Independent Writing Assignment - Description Fall 2019
Value: 10% of Final Grade
Assignment Description
Students will submit an independent assignment that facilitates a beginning understanding of the principles and expectations of scholarly writing and informational literacy at the university level.
This is a ‘take home’ assignment and will be made available to students on Blackboard following the week four (4) class. Students will apply the content learned in Weeks 4 and 5 of the course to complete the work. The assignment is submitted in Week 6 and should not exceed two (2) pages double spaced (exclusive of title page and reference pages). Students must submit individual and original work. All submissions must adhere to APA (6th ed.) format and must be accompanied by an integrity pledge, signed by the student. The assignment is submitted to Turnitin.
