Synopsis
Aim of the project
The project aims to create a cloud based ERP system to enable the power of accessing
both the data and information irrespective of the consumers’ location mainly.
Methodology
The methodology has followed secondary data analysis which includes at least ten
peer reviewed journals along with informative academic sources. The journal articles have
been analysed in terms of detecting gaps and strengths following a structure of annotated
bibliography. This has turned out to be helpful in suggesting best solution for the
organisation.
Results
The findings suggests cloud technologies are supportive enough to bring alternative
ERP solutions to the market. Applying this method a company can capture added value and
achieve competitive edge. Researches like Randhawa and Sethi (2017), Qu et al. (2014), and
Johansson et al. (2015) have indicated feasibility of implication and its flexible nature. Cloud
based ERO is going to be highly cost-effective too. Although, Mohammed and Burhanuddin
(2018) has highlighted the risk of privacy, truthfulness and security of information
concerning a certain organisation.
Discussion
Acknowledging the potential risk, the need of discussing various stringent strategies
and developing control mechanism with cloud vendors has been perceived in terms of
maintaining the competitive edge. In order to implement the planning thoroughly, HR
capabilities must be enhanced through conducting various trainings. Strict regulation must be
