1. Introduction
Google, Singapore currently operates at Mapletree Business Tree with all their operative
unit. Due to the current increment of the customer and services, several new employees has been
recruited for enhancing the operational efficiency. Google, Singapore has decided to relocate the
customer service unit to a new location at new building at Alexandra Technopark. The relocation
of the customer service department would allow Google, to incorporate more employees at the
Mapletree Business City Location while improving the customer service facilities. Therefore,
this project deals with the proper and efficient management of the relocation of the “Customer
service department” to new location.
2. Project Scope Statement
The evaluation of the appropriate project scope allows the proper identification of project
characteristics, and expectation of the customer from the undertaken project. For the relocation
of the customer service department of Google, Singapore to another location, the scope statement
has been developed by breaking down the relocation requirement into six significant areas as
described in the section below.
2.1. Project Objectives
The vital aim developed for the project is to successfully and efficiently relocate the
“customer service” department of Google, Singapore to a new location. For the fulfillment of the
project the various objectives has been developed as follows:
