2 GOOGLE SINGAPORE1. Introduction Google, Singapore currently operates at Mapletree Business Tree with all their operativeunit. Due to the current increment of the customer and services, several new employees has beenrecruited for enhancing the operational efficiency. Google, Singapore has decided to relocate thecustomer service unit to a new location at new building at Alexandra Technopark. The relocationof the customer service department would allow Google, to incorporate more employees at theMapletree Business City Location while improving the customer service facilities. Therefore,this project deals with the proper and efficient management of the relocation of the “Customerservice department” to new location. 2. Project Scope StatementThe evaluation of the appropriate project scope allows the proper identification of projectcharacteristics, and expectation of the customer from the undertaken project. For the relocationof the customer service department of Google, Singapore to another location, the scope statementhas been developed by breaking down the relocation requirement into six significant areas asdescribed in the section below. 2.1. Project ObjectivesThe vital aim developed for the project is to successfully and efficiently relocate the“customer service” department of Google, Singapore to a new location. For the fulfillment of theproject the various objectives has been developed as follows:To identify and select the appropriate office area for relocating “customer servicedepartment” of Google, Singapore;
