Introduction
Dr Farry and Dr Lesley want to develop their new venture: Kings Centre for Clinical Excellence
(KCCE) which will be a psychiatric clinic. The purpose of this report is to support the doctors by
developing a strategic plan for the next three years for this clinic by using the strategic
management tools.
About KCCE and the service to be delivered by KCCE
The idea to develop KCCE is to treat the people who suffer from the complex mental illness like
the severe mood, anxiety, personality and addictive disorders. The clinical will provide the
services related to treatment of these kinds of mental problems to the patients. It will also help
the patients in organizing the information that disturbs them by using the mind mapping tools.
This will help them in identifying the real issues that they face and therefore they will be able to
find solutions for themselves. Also, the clinical will indulge itself into the research on the mental
problems that people suffer from, which will give an insight to the current and the future mental
health professionals.
Strategic intent for KCCE
The main purpose of this clinic is to help the people in curing their mental disorders and to
research on the rare and unique mental problems that have not been discovered yet or if
discovered, their treatment has not been identified yet. The clinic will always help the people and
the research that it will undertake will be applicable in the future too. So, the clinic will continue
to exist and the quality and applicability of its research will give it a competitive advantage. The
company intends to help the people in every possible way and the solution and treatment of their
mental disorders is the priority of the clinic. When the clinic will deliver its best services, it will

be able to attract more and more patients, more problems could be solved and it will motivate the
people to get the right treatment for themselves and their loved ones.

The core values of this clinic are: conveying hope and respect to the patients and believing that
all individuals have the capacity to grow and learn, to adopt a person-centered approach for
treating the patients, supporting the integration of the people in the process of recovery from the
disorder into the society where they are able to exercise their rights of citizenship, undertaking
the peer-support initiatives and taking the help of self-help groups in developing the person and
promoting the health and wellness of the and encouraging them to develop and use

good. This shows that the clinic will not have issues related to getting the

Social The lifestyle of the people in the country is very comfortable and they prefer to
live a luxurious life because their jobs pay them well (Laeequddin, 2016). To
live comfortably, the people would want to get rid of their health issues, the
anxieties, stress etc. So, they will visit the clinic for treatments.
Technological This country is one of the most advanced countries in the world. It has the
high-tech equipment. The country is very rich too, so it can purchase the
technology whenever required (Moonesar, 2015). The clinic can be set up
with the latest technology and all the high-tech equipment. It will not face any
problems in importing the technology if required. It can also produce the
technology as there are enough financial resources available with the country
