COMPUTER SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
Introduction
The aim of the assessment of is to identify the key components that are associated with a
computer system so that it becomes easy to train the non-technical personnel about the computer
system hardware and associated subsystems. It is important to understand the computer system
architecture properly so that it becomes easy to manage the performance. With the help of this
assessment it will become easy to understand the key concepts associated with computer system.
About Computer system
Computer system is referred to the interconnect computers that focuses on sharing a
central storage system for the purpose of operating independently. The connected system has the
capability to interconnect with external devices and computers.
Main subsystems of a computer and organization
Computer system is divided mainly into three categories that are central processing unit,
main memory and the input/output subsystem. The main aim of the central processing unit is to
perform proper operations on data. The computer subsystem are essential for managing the
whole system as they are interconnected together for the purpose of smooth performance. The
computer systems are organized together for the purpose of managing the business performance.
Explains the purpose and operation of the CPU
Central processing unit is considered as the brain of the computer. This aims at handling
all the activities that takes place within the computer for the purpose of better performance. CPU

is also known as the microprocessor that is responsible for executing a sequence of stored
instructions. The four primary operations that are carried out by the CPU are fetching the data
after storing all the necessary data in the memory. Decoding all the necessary programs and
executing the assembly instruction. It is important to decode the binary data into an
understandable language. Beside this it is important for the CPU to execute the necessary data
that includes the three major processes. This includes doing the calculations with its ALU, and
moving data from one location to another for the purpose of managing the address. CPU also
focuses on giving feedback after executing proper instruction. CPU performs on executing the
core processes parallel so that it becomes easy to execute the data stored within the system.
Dependency of CPU performance with systems and subsystems
CPU is considered as the most essential unit and thus it becomes essential to determine
the performance. The key systems that are associated with computer architecture include the
RAM and storage. Each component is interrelated with each other and thus it is important to
manage the data and performance properly.
Conclusions
Thus form the above analysis it can be stated that with the help of proper computer
system architecture it becomes easy to manage the business processes. The paper has highlighted
the main systems associated with the computer efficiently. Hence it can be stated that with the
help of an efficient system structure it becomes easy to improve the way data are managed and
shared within the computer systems.
