INTRODUCTION
The concept of justice within the international relations is relatively the new one as an
ancient, medieval as well as an early modern thinkers concentrated over the justice among the
states. In this, delivering the justice was specifically the duty of the state as well as an
international dimension of the justice which is remained neglected. The globalization is generally
shifting the gender roles as well as the norms, enhanced access to the information, primarily via
the television as well as the social media, can enable the countries to learn about the social mores
in various other places, that can alter the perceptions as well as can encourage the acceptance of
more democratic attitude as well. The concept of gender equality can effectively make the
communities more safer and healthier as well. As the unequal communities are generally less
cohesive (Szczurek et. al., 2018). They generally involve greater rates of an anti-social
behaviours as well as the violence. The countries having equality among gender are significantly
more linked and the people residing in such countries are much healthier as well as can involve

Key themes of Laudato Si’ and principles of Catholic Social Thought in Nursing
Laudato Si, a brief document that outlines the response of the Catholic Church to the
critical issues that centres around integral ecology. Internal ecology focuses on the bond between
humans and the natural world. It combines the environmental justices and social justices and
provides a moral peremptory for stabilizing the change in climate. These values are adopted by
nursing profession for dignity of every human, wellness, healthy behaviours, and appropriate
outcomes. Nurses can help to address environmental and climate crisis challenges by working
against the inequalities that are driving health disparities experienced by poor (Cornwell et. al.,
2021).
Laudato Si' representing the catholic social thought principle of human dignity
Laudato So' employs the concept of human dignity as a wide part of gender equality that
appeals to all the men and women. Human dignity rests above all on fact that humanity is the

sharing with god. There are two fundamental aspects of human dignity as per the Christian
understanding. First: human dignity is grounded on the fact that human beings are made in the
image of god. Which shows the dignity of each person, who is not just something but someone
and who is capable of self knowledge, possession and entering into communion with other
persons. Second: Incarnation and its redemption.

In Laudato Si' the principle of common good is encountered in relation with the
privileged option for the poor ones. Common good is defined as those conditions of life which
allow social groups and the individual members of such groups to access their own fulfilment. It

The principle of 'Solidarity' in Laudato Si' is the concept of equality that says we all are
one human family irrespective of our national, racial, ethic, economic, and ideological

The principle of 'Option for the poor and vulnerable' means that the god originated us to
care for those who need the help most. All human under the act of solidarity are meant to love
and help each other, spend time with the sick and those who require it the most.

nursing
Climate change is a threat for human health and its existence, health professionals are
always looked up for their role of leadership and commitments in dealing with the critical gap in
climate science and policies. The nursing professionals have three essential assets. First, they
come under 60% of the health professionals working worldwide. Secondly, nursing profession is
trusted most, they have immense potential to create and spread acceptable messages about
climate change to those who are doubtful about that. Thirdly, Nurses are close to the people who
are at risk of climate change. Nursing staff has been associated with people infected severely
with climate sensitive diseases such as malaria, dengue fever etc.
Sustainable development goal 5 – Gender equality
Gender equality is a necessary human right to establish a peaceful, prosperous and
sustainable world. An equal access of education, health care, decent work, and representation in

political and economic decision making process to women and girls will benefit humanity and
society.

5.5.1 Women in political positions: It is the proportion of positions held by women in national
parliament and local governments.
5.5.2 Women in managerial positions: It is the proportion of women who are in managerial
positions.

Women's development agency
International women's development agency is and Australian non-profitable organization
which is working to support the women's rights in Asia and the Pacific. The organization was
formed with the objectives to break down the barriers which are prohibiting the full equality of
women in every country.
Initiatives taken by women's development agency: The organization undertakes the partnership
projects with women from Asia-Pacific region. These projects are managed by women who are
working in the communities themselves. The organization works mainly in three areas of women
rights: civil and political participation, economic empowerment, and safety. There are six
programme goals and cross cutting issues that are designed in a way to focus the work in
promoting transformational changes for females. These are supported by seven organisational
change goals for more responsive and effective organisation (Meroni, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it is concluded that the sustainable developmental goal such
as gender equality has played a major role across the communities. It is identified that, the
effective principle of 'Solidarity' in Laudato Si' is mainly the key concept of equality which
express that all the human are a one family regardless of their nation, economic, racial, ethic, as
well as the ideological differences. In addition to this, the gender equality is generally essential
because it can allow both the men as well as women to make an informed decisions which can
significantly influences on the reproductive and a sexual well-being and that of families and
spouse as well. There are the targets discussed above that are involved in gender equality such as
