Lahart et al. (2018), conducted a systematic review for assessing the efficiency of
physical activity interventions after adjuvant therapy for women with breast cancer. Women
suffering from breast cancer often experience short and long term disease and adverse
psychological and physiological side effects of breast cancer. Consequently, these side effects
often resulted in the poor quality of life, poor prognosis and a range of physiological impairment.
In this context, in order to alleviate the negative impact and improve prognosis, physical activity
can be an effective measure. For obtaining the article, the inclusion criteria was a randomized
control trial along with quasi –randomized controlled trial that focused on the effect of physical
activity interventions2. The additional inclusion criteria include physical activity with dietary
modification, single exercise sessions and investigate effects of physiotherapy and local
muscular endurance. The result of the research suggested that physical activity have a minimum
to moderate impact on the health-related quality of life and positive impact on emotional, social
function and cardiorespiratory fitness and reduced body fat. Moreover, after adjuvant therapy
women tend to achieve a more favorable outcome in cognitive function, depressive symptoms
and reduced fatigue. According to the self-efficacy theory, the belief of the individuals in her
capacity is the driving force behind the change of behavior. In this current context, with the
assistance of the theory, breast cancer survivor can improve health-related quality of life.
Moreover, behavioral change theory is one such theory which can be applied to the breast cancer
