It is essential to have a successful internship and make long-lasting career connection by gaining
knowledge and exchange the knowledge and also get great advice for future positions. The report

Knowledge management becomes an essential aspect across the world and all the organizations
are taking initiatives and earn profit by increased productivity of the organization. Yet some
researches state that knowledge management is not all about process and procedures it is based
on human activities and social interaction which creates the better flow of knowledge and
information (Hislop, 2018).
When it comes to interns, it is essential for them to have a successful career and how they gain
exchange knowledge and information into the organization. The exchange of knowledge can
help them increase their skills of ability. Those impacts bring benefits for the future targets and
objectives of an intern and an organization also.
To have a successful internship it is not enough to carry a notebook and write down things
immediately. Therefore organizations have to implement better technology and process so that
they can earn and share knowledge as they can and get accurate information and knowledge at
the right time (Wasonga, 2006).
Collaboration with the employees and coworkers also creates great knowledge and that leads to
bigger tips for interns. Employees of the organization should be rewarded and should have
benefits and receive the prize for sharing and exchanging the knowledge and also helping
interns. Every intern should write about the information and the name of the employee who had
to share the knowledge and experience so that the organization evaluates and review that who is
initiating the knowledge management.
The goal of better knowledge management to increase skills and knowledge of everyone and that
leads to winning and success (Barley, 2018). Interns are usually asked to carry a notebook to

write down the information during starting period and they often face challenges and this lead to
gain little information only. Hence for better knowledge management they should have asked
and offered to do help on additional projects. Hence interns have to collaborate and help time to
time with other coworkers and employee so that they get the practical benefit and better
understanding and also they can improve their skills by taking advantage of collaborative
experience also course owner win by increased business.
KM has a wide area and concept which states the difference between information and
knowledge. In order to differentiate the information and knowledge, it is indeed to understand
the relationship between the data information and knowledge. And How Intern can exchange
knowledge through different process.
