SUMMARY
Portfolios specifically student portfolios are a combination of several different documents
prepared by the student holding all of their achievements. Portfolios are prepared so that the
students are able to provide a reflection upon their learning’s and achievements in their entire
course work (Alcock and Satchell, 2018). Portfolios are appropriate tools for students for
learners to develop and understanding and provide a glance to all the knowledge and learning
they have received while pursuing their specific course work. Portfolio awesome student is a
compilation of all the academic work and other educational evidences assembled by his or her
for the purpose of evaluating the learning’s progress academic achievement and course for
quality. Along with it provides and assist student in determining whether they have met their
learning standards and the academic requirements from the courses, grade level, promotion and
graduation. Moreover, it is argued that to be portfolios that compiling reviewing annual
evaluation student work overtime can provide a richer and a deeper more accurate picture in
front of a student about their learning and the areas in which they need improvements (Cremin
and Barnes, 2018). There are several different forms of portfolios such as notebooks filled which
documents, notes, and graphics to online digital archives, student created websites etc. Online
portfolios are also known as digital portfolios or portfolios, as portfolios can be a physical
collection off to work including their achievements such as written assignments and also they
can be digital such as portfolios holding digital archives presentation blogs and websites which
features the same materials as of a physical portfolio. Sometimes it portfolios also includes
student created videos multimedia presentation spreadsheets websites photographs and other
digital artifacts of learning. In my portfolio I have added the documents that I have learnt during
the course work. This portfolio of mine consists of 12 mini documents of the learnings I have
done in my 12 classes. These documents are as follows along with their rationales of adding
them in my portfolio.
 In first class we were taught about reflective learning where the to turn explained and
briefly taught us the ways in which reflective learning and writing has to be done and we
created a basic idea on different ways of business academic writing and usage of correct
punctuations (Ducroux and et. al., 2019).
 The second coursework is of writing an essay there we were taught about the small
details we need to provide while writing an essay.

 The third course work is of research skills identifying its importance and its requirement
by me for business research.
 The force course work and document which I have added in my portfolio is of mind
mapping in which we have learnt about the process of mind mapping and develop to an
appropriate knowledge of the ways in which the set diagrams can be prepared in my mind
(Fong and et. al., 2018).
 Rest what's the course works are referencing in avoiding plagiarism as it is a fraudulent
activity, help with sentence construction for enhancing writing skills, using capital letters
which is a continuation of sixth course work part of sentence construction, the eighth
course what is about reading skills as it is useful for me in my personal and professional
life, the ninth coursework is of presentation continuing with critical thinking processes,
learning of academy keywords and proper use of tenses improving the English language
skills and applying them in my writing speaking development.

WORK ONE
Reflective Learning
This is the first course work where I have learnt about the details of business academic writings
with the help of reflective learning. This part of our course work is a reflection of the main
exercises in our course. Finishing this work of my learning I need to recall all the exercises from
the past and consider what you have learnt how helpful it was and what are the new data received
from is along with how helpful those exercises were for me. Reflective learning is a fundamental
tool to intelligence learning as it allowed me to think back in past and create my opinion about it
assessing my experience and discovering the improvement areas and improving activities.

WORK TWO
Essay Writing
This is the second class of our course work where we were taught about writing an essay. The
tutor taught us about the proper ways of writing an essay explaining all the appropriate styles and
discussing them deeply amongst class. I have learnt different ways in which my writing matters
and how they need to be cited with the help of all the references from where I am collecting my
data. Another important and proper utilization of this writing skill is also mentioned by the tutor
in which an essay has to be elaborated properly for better understanding.

Research Skills
The third course work was related and concerned with the development of research skills. In this
course work I have developed appropriate knowledge related to the importance and requirement
of holding appropriate research skills. Research is a very important an essential part of doing
business academic writing and therefore it is very essential abilities it is needed to be developed
by me in order to be e very effective an appropriate writing water I am writing and about what
topic I am writing.

Mind Mapping
The next class and course work for smokers over the ability and a tool of mind mapping. This is
a focus unsystematic dramatic style of learning where the learners James and ability to develop a
set of interlinking diagrams in their mind about a particular topic. These diagrams are used by
them to enhance and develop better knowledge related to the details of the particular topic that
are being thought and discussed by the tutors in the class.

Referencing and Avoiding Plagiarism
Plagiarism is an activity that is considered to be a fraudulent activity where the individual does
not copy or borrow other persons work but de claim that the idea and the work used by them is
their own and originally developed by them. This is the next coursework topic which we studied
and an important topic in business academic writing.

Help with Sentence Construction
It is according to me considered as the one of the most important course work that is been
provided to us focusing over writing proper sentences and constructing them appropriately. The
tutor the us to develop sentences Wednesday provided as appropriate knowledge and basic
knowledge of grammar related with sentence construction. It enable me to develop proper
knowledge in the ways we should construct sentences in business academic writing enabling me
to answer all the questions properly.

Using Capital Letter
This course work was taught to learners in relation with writing text and appropriately using
capital letters where needed. This is a very basic knowledge which is provide to me since the
very beginning but with this course work some new ideas were grabbed by me in relation with
applying capital letters in the middle of sentences and also giving appropriate knowledge for
using it when any name is written.

Improving Reading
This class mainly focused on different styles of readings. The reader plays a very important role
and therefore they need to have an appropriate idea of the text beforehead while reading any text
for a paragraph of relevant information. This course work enabled me to understand and manage
used materials of the course there it is very important that I hold appropriate reading skills. After
this course work it becomes very easy for me to read large text easier and in rapid speed.

Presentation
This is a communication tool which is put under the head of formal communication. Presentation
is considered as one of the most important tool in business academic and this course work in able
me to you understand its appropriate need and importance where I need to attract and gain the
attention of my audience while making them understand my point on a specific topic.
Presentation skills are very important and in this course work we focus over different important
factor related with that such as the body language of the presenter, there tone there posture, the
amount of information they are providing to the audience, the relevance of the information to the
topic and most importantly the attention of the audiences while the present our is presenting their
views and opinions in front of them. I gained most skills from this course work and with practice
I'm sure that I will develop better presentation skills where I’ll be having more control over
myself and my speaking abilities along with my speech.

Critical Thinking
This is a process of critically evaluating and analyzing a particular information and through this
course work I have understood the fact that it is very important for me to develop such skill and
different ways in which I should proceed with my thoughts on particular information available in
front of me. Critical thinking course work has taught me that the data presented in front of me
and that is collected by me need not to be relevant and therefore it is very important for me to
evaluate it appropriately and Critically.

Academic Keywords
This course work taught me the different keywords that are used in academic business writings
which are important and essential. The keywords are basically most important because business
writing questions are based on different phrases that are used by the teachers and tutors in front
of the learners and therefore I was able to understand the importance of these phrases and
properly answer the questions related to them in my academic writing.

WORK TWELVE
What is Tense?
As a learner is necessary for me to develop proper knowledge of tenses in English language and
this course work help me in gaining and developing my English spoken and written capabilities
in relation with tenses. These are the most important and basic grammatical skills that an
individual need to present in order to develop control over their language. The course work in
able me to practice my sentences and identify appropriate tenses and construct appropriate and
correct sentences with the help of these tenses.
