Organizational knowledge can be stored in different ways that includes human minds,
policies, procedure along with the documents that are shared among the individuals in the
organization with the help of conversations, reports along with the training. The significance of
the knowledge has increased in the recent age owing to the rise of the new kind of the electronic
means. This report talks about the different levels of the knowledge management within the
framework of an organization. The report also talks about the knowledge management process
along with the tools that are talked about in the article, “An empirical Study of the Effect of
Knowledge Management Processes at Individual, Group and Organizational Level”.
The main purpose of the article is to elucidate on how the processes of the knowledge
management have an influence on the effectiveness of the knowledge management. The article
talks about the impact of the four kinds of process of the knowledge management like
internalization, externalization, combination along with the socialization on that of the individual
, group along with the organizational level knowledge (Sabherwal and Becerra‐Fernandez 2003).
The latest technologies can play an important role in improving the process of the knowledge
management as it can help in the proper management of the organizational knowledge (Imran et
al. 2016). The article views knowledge as the subjective instead of the objective. The article
states that knowledge can be said to be an object that helps in representing the world that is
independent of the element of human perception. The article states that knowledge acts as a
human process that helps in justifying the personal belief towards that of the truth.
The article has pointed out how the acquisition of knowledge of an individual is
dependent on perceptual filters that are used by them for the interpretation of the events along
with the actions. The knowledge within the groups and in an organization is dependent on the
knowledge of the individuals. The knowledge flows are facilitated with the help of the process of
the knowledge management. The knowledge flows help in providing integrative ability of the
knowledge from the individual to the group and from group to that of organizational level. The
article has stated that progression of the knowledge from individual to group continues till the
organizational level (Inkinen, Kianto and Vanhala 2015). The progression can take place with
the help of synthesis of that of individual knowledge that takes place with the help of social
interaction (Dayan, Heisig and Matos 2017). The use of the beliefs that are shared across the
groups helps in the creation of organizational routines. The article states that process of the

internalization helps in converting the explicit knowledge into that of the tacit knowledge. The
article discusses that the process of externalization helps in expressing the aspects of the tacit
knowledge. The process of the internationalization along with the externalization proves to be
fundamental for the individual level process of the knowledge management (Hislop, Bosua and
Helms 2018).
The article makes use of the research method of primary data analysis technique. The
article takes recourse to structural equation modeling algorithm that can help in providing
assessment of fit of that of hypothesized model to the tests of the individual hypothesis
(Sabherwal and Becerra‐Fernandez 2003). The process of the structural equation modeling was
validated with the help of the multiple regressions. The regressions were carried out in relation to
each of the dependent variables that has large number of the control variables.
The article has concluded that the process of the internalization along with the
externalization can help in focusing at that of the individual level. It plays an important role in
unraveling the knowledge that is possessed by an individual. The process of socialization in an
organization should be supplemented with that of the formal techniques that can aid the process
of the knowledge management within the framework of an organization (Al Saifi 2019). The
article has brought out that mentoring can be used in an organization that can help in facilitating
the process of the knowledge management. The findings of the article were brought out with the
help of the qualitative interviews. The process of internalization can be said to be related to the
process of the learning and the externalization process can be said to be imperative for the
process of the knowledge acquisition (Nonaka and Toyama 2015). The article has found out that
the process of combination can prove to be effective at that of organizational level but not at the
process of the group level. The teams in an organization should be formed intuitively that can
help in utilization of the knowledge of each individual in an organization. The limitation of the
article arises on account of the fact that it has focused on a single large organization. The
respondents belong to that of same organization that imposes limitations on the findings of the
article.
The new technologies should be used within an organization that can bring about
improvements in process of knowledge management. It can help in managing the asset of
knowledge in an organization. Knowledge flow can help in facilitating process of knowledge

management. The formal techniques should be made use of in an organization that can help in
process of knowledge management. The significance of the article lies in the fact that it has been
able to find out how the process of the combination can help in integrating the explicit
knowledge that can contribute effectively to that of the organizational knowledge.
