Organizational knowledge can be stored in different ways that includes human minds,
policies, procedure along with the documents that are shared among the individuals in the
organization with the help of conversations, reports along with the training. The significance of
the knowledge has increased in the recent age owing to the rise of the new kind of the electronic
means. This report talks about the different levels of the knowledge management within the
framework of an organization. The report also talks about the knowledge management process
along with the tools that are talked about in the article, “An empirical Study of the Effect of
Knowledge Management Processes at Individual, Group and Organizational Level”.
The main purpose of the article is to elucidate on how the processes of the knowledge
management have an influence on the effectiveness of the knowledge management. The article
talks about the impact of the four kinds of process of the knowledge management like
internalization, externalization, combination along with the socialization on that of the individual
, group along with the organizational level knowledge (Sabherwal and BecerraFernandez 2003).
The latest technologies can play an important role in improving the process of the knowledge
management as it can help in the proper management of the organizational knowledge (Imran et
al. 2016). The article views knowledge as the subjective instead of the objective. The article
states that knowledge can be said to be an object that helps in representing the world that is
independent of the element of human perception. The article states that knowledge acts as a
human process that helps in justifying the personal belief towards that of the truth.
The article has pointed out how the acquisition of knowledge of an individual is
dependent on perceptual filters that are used by them for the interpretation of the events along
with the actions. The knowledge within the groups and in an organization is dependent on the
knowledge of the individuals. The knowledge flows are facilitated with the help of the process of
the knowledge management. The knowledge flows help in providing integrative ability of the
knowledge from the individual to the group and from group to that of organizational level. The
article has stated that progression of the knowledge from individual to group continues till the
organizational level (Inkinen, Kianto and Vanhala 2015). The progression can take place with
the help of synthesis of that of individual knowledge that takes place with the help of social
interaction (Dayan, Heisig and Matos 2017). The use of the beliefs that are shared across the
groups helps in the creation of organizational routines. The article states that process of the
