It is highly essential for HR practitioners to obtain Active Listening skills (Hecklau and et.al., 2017).. Through group process activities where participants, including myself, identified key competencies necessary for Human Resource Practitioners, and after my facilitation workshop which has helped in my delivery and performance as a facilitator, I have acquired an indepth understanding of how active listening works.This section will closely reflect on areas where I have been able to successfully implement the ORID process (Cochran and et.a., 2018) I am able to clearly analyse and reflect on my own knowledge and competencies, and I can identify my weaknesses and will use these skillstowards progress, improving myself and making adjustments as I endeavor to grow and develop as a HR Practitioner. Listing skills allows the managers to make sense of what another person is saying. This session have featured focus on enhancing the communication through effective listening. Hearing is a physical ability while listing is a skill. In this have learned that with effecting listening to employee and personnel of an organization as an HR practitioner and steady growth in the career and profession (Kerzner and Kerzner, 2017). I can understand the people and what they are talking about , this will effective in solving their grievances and issues as well as can by used as suggesting to improve the functioning of the institution. With effective listing I can enhance my productivity by management of the human resourcesunder my professional practices. Active listening is one of the importance part of the HR practices for which gained an insightthrough this session where learned that with active listening an effective communication can be set out among the colleagues. With this practice I will work in direction of gaining the trust of the colleagues (Ameen and et.al, 2015). With this I can achieve a collaboration and gain cooperation in the working as HR practitioner. The active listing skill will be projected in the actual practices built trust with the fellow employee and gain advances in form of collaboration and cooperation.In this session over active listening skill I have been empowered with a knowledge that active listing can help in diffuse conflicts. I will use this as my key skill under the professional practice as HR to resolve the conflicts among the fellow employees and employer-employee (Tucker, 2017).
