INTRODUCTION
Present study is based on project of designing transformer tiny houses by using recycled
shipping container for off grid solution. Study will include knowledge management plan, quality
assurance plan for the project proposal. Furthermore, financial details will be examined to
identify its progress.
3.6 Knowledge management plan
Knowledge management plan can be defined as systematic and focused approach for
implementing information and ideas in the project in order to accomplish it successfully. It deals
with the detail that is required to accomplish the proposal and process will require to manage
knowledge (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017).

In the project of designing transformer tiny houses, manager has to concentrate on KM
activities. They have to choose face to face meeting source in order to transfer the knowledge to
other person. This helps in minimising confusion and utilising this information in appropriate
manner. In order to manage it well authorities have to conduct meetings time to time and have to
record these details on intranet (Walker, 2015).
3.7 Quality management plan
It is very important for the project manager of recycled shipping containers t to maintain
quality. This can support in designing as good off grid solutions or tiny houses successfully.

Quality assurance (QA) officer in this present project is responsible for ensuring quality of
entire task and maintains it till the end of the proposal. Individual has to report to higher
authorities and have to inform to client. QA has to coordinate with team members and have to
provide them training so that they can perform their work effectively. Individual is responsible to
provide necessary guidelines to quality control reviewers so that final project can be designed
with acceptable quality standards (Harrison and Lock, 2017).
3.8 Issue/ Conflict resolution plan
Project manager will have to routinely deal with many issues in this engineering project. It
might because of changes in needs, perception, expectations, personality of different people.
Project manager of Tiny house project will have to ensure that skilled people get involved and
they all work together without any conflict in the workplace. In order to resolve such problems, it
is very important for the manager to implement right strategy that can create win-win situation
for both involved persons and can solve the critical conditions:
 Collaboration: If there is language or cultural difference then there are high chances of
occurring miscommunication (Turner, 2016). In such condition people do not understand

each other well that creates conflict condition in the workplace. In order to resolve such
problem manager of Tiny house project has to adopt collaborating strategy.
 Confronting: It is another strategy that can support in resolving problems. If higher
authority confronts issue in front of all employees then it will help in developing trust of
all people and issue will be resolved soon (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017).
 Compromising: If there is an issue related to economy then both parties have to
compromise on particular aspects. This would help in resolving issue soon and creating
win-win situation for both.
3.9 Monitoring and controlling strategies
Execution of projected plan is mandatory for WTF as per developing the ship containers in
Grid houses. Strategic plan has been developed by professionals for developing the soothing
work environment in organisation. However, there has been development of specific strategies
which are to be managed and monitored by professionals in terms of designing effective
operational increment. Analysing the issues which incurred in the operations are the prime
requirement of any business which will be adequate in meeting the goals as well as managing
business operations (Project management tools and techniques, 2012). It is necessary that there
is need to have effective collaboration and coordination among workforce as well as effective
quality of operations are to beexecuted. Moreover, as per managing the activities there can be
implication of various techniques such as:
 Base line project execution: It is necessary that a firm must have specific goals and
target which are needed to be based on smart objectives such as specific, measurable,
achievable, reliable and time based. The developed time frame is must be required for
effective operational practices and management of various activities (Zou, Kiviniemi and
Jones, 2017).
 Administrating the project progress: Tracking all transactions and process which has
been administered in business will bring suitable success. Strategies are to be managed in
terms of attaining the goals of firm in a targeted manner. Thus, managing operations
needed to be less complex and attainable for managing the business operations.
 Developing changes in the base line project: It ascertains that planning is to be
achieved by professionals and operations has been made by them on step by step process.

Each set of mile stone is needed to be achieved in a prominent way. Morality of
projection is based on creating effective collaboration of activities and resources implied
in business activities such as labour, equipment, facilities and material (Martens and
Carvalho, 2017).
 Management of project work book: For developing the tiny houses WTF is required to
set operational plan such as determining the suppliers of resources, recruitment of
qualified workforce as well as managing entire process. Along with this keeping record
all resources such as salaries, payments to suppliers and purchase of raw material will be
helpful in meeting various business requirements.
 Project status: It is required to have typical line of authority which ios based on proper
management and controlling of effective business operations. monitoring all phases of
business will be helpful in determining various requirement of firm.

4.2 Design file
In designing Tiny Houses from renovating the shipping containers in a way that which will
be used for better residency. However, WTF has made various designs and blue print of the
project which will be convenient for the citizens in costs as well as quality. There have been
various designs on which the most commonly preferred is:

In this regard, there has been preparation of plan which will be helpful to the entity in
terms of making necessary improvements and develop the work practices.
4.2.1 Specific Definition problem
WTF will have effective operational practices as if professionals will make implication of
these techniques in production. To develop houses which are comprised of implicating well
versed techniques for designing and implicating the projected plan for operations (Leahy and

et.al., 2017). In appropriate funding and finance used in each operation performed by the entity.
Selection of various features such as roofing, flooring window designing as well as development
of all other operational practices.
CONCLUSION
ISO standards, PDCA cycle, Kaizen, Lean technique are considered as most appropriate
techniques by this way project manager will be able to raise quality of entire Tiny house project.
It is responsibility of person that to give proper training to all staff members and resolve their
problems so that they can perform well and make their contribution in accomplishing goal of the
project.
