INTRODUCTION
Research is considered as a scientific approach to answer a question, solve a problem or
generate new information or data through a systematic way as well as orderly collection,
organisation along with analysing the information. This tool provide assistance in understanding
the issues and enhancing the awareness of the public. Within this project, the reflective model of
Kolb's learning cycle and Gibb's reflective cycle is going to be used. Kolb's Learning Cycle helps
a person in allowing the transformation of experience to knowledge in order to occur (Gupta and
et.al., 2019). Gibbs's Reflective Cycle facilitates encourages an individual in thinking in a
systematic way regarding the experiences that are gained by it in a specific situation, activity or
event.
MAIN BODY
Kolb's Reflective Model
This reflective model was introduced by David Kolb in 1984 and is a four stage model
that facilitates a person through describing ways in which it can obtain knowledge. The four
stages in this reflective model has allowed me in sharing my experience over accomplishing the
research on increasing employee turnover that is creating challenge for business. The problems
that I have faced in completing the research have been solved in an effective way through this
model of reflection. The four stages of this model is explained as below:
Concrete Experience: At this initial stage of this reflective model, I am required to have
guidance of my teachers that will support me accomplishing this research. My teacher has
assigned me a task in order to carry out research on topics such as increasing employee
turnover. At this stage, I get to know about the topic from a wide number of sources and
also I have knowledge about it based on learning in class (Romanyshyn, 2020). I also
take support and guidance from my teacher for analysing topic deeply along with
completing research effectively.
Reflective Observation: This is second stage and at this stage I made efforts to
understand topic by my own and also concentrated in analysing reason for increasing
employee turnover. There are various reasons for leaving by employees and some of
these are poor working conditions, conflicts, lower payment in comparison to others. For
completing this research, it becomes significant for me to gain understanding of trends
