2.0 PROPOSED PROJECT MANAGEMENT
PRACTICE/METHODOLOGY
The proposed project management practice/methodology applicable for LSr project to turn out as an
effective management is suggested to be Project management tools. This tool has the capacity to reflect
the professional attributes and aspirations of a professional and responsible project manager. The main
objective of the project management tools include supporting the plan of the managers in executing as
well as to control each task of the project management. Usually, the key tools are relied on by the
companies for ensuring the effective management of the project, which monitors the time to complete
the tasks and balances the workload of the staff, this results in optimal time management project
(Wrike.com, 2019). Therefore, the project management tools helps to enhance the efficiency of resource
and ensures to meet the project scope, especially for complex projects. However, the project
management tools like task assignments, project plans, Gantt charts, project budgets are used to plan
and schedule the project. It allows the manager to handle the most critical phases like accurate
estimation, planning, communicating, resource management, expense reporting, time management,
and tracking the project, and helps them, to precisely define the project goals and objectives
(Renolds, 2017).

On the other hand, there are several project management techniques like the rational unified process,
agile project management, waterfall technique, critical path technique, extreme project management,
program evaluation and review technique, and critical chain technique (blog, 2019). The project
management techniques supports to manage any project easily and effectively. Some of the best
techniques used by the project managers are Gantt Chart, WBS, PERT (program evaluation and review
technique), Kanban, and Critical Path Method (CPM). These techniques help to establish collaboration
and allows improved workflow (Landau, 2019). Thus, it is essential to select an appropriate technique
and tools before the commencement of any project, and can guarantee its success.
3.0 PROPOSED APPROPRIATE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
TECHNIQUES/TOOLS
In this project, the project management techniques and tool utilized includes waterfall technique and
the project management tools, respectively.
The waterfall technique is referred as a traditional method which offers classic approach to the project,
and benefits to deliver clarity of understanding the project. The waterfall technique is characterized with
the Gantt chart, which helps to see the sequence of the tasks to be performed or completed. Gantt chart
can also be assist in monitoring the designed tasks and their performance (ProjectManager.com, 2020).
The project management tool includes planning, scheduling, communication, time management, and
finance & accounting. All these tools are beneficial to manage the project. The following are the ten core
PMBOK areas and the respective tools (Dzone.com, 2019) (Hartney, 2016).
