INTRODUCTION
Organizational behaviour is a study where it reflects how the people interact with each
other at the workplace from where the particular company gets the highly impact over the
business areas. To run any kind of business they are required to understand the significance of
the organizational behaviour and should maintain the company's environment positively so that
the company can run effectively. The organization Marks and Spencer is a multinational
company who deals in clothing and apparels which is headquartered at United Kingdom. The
company is facing such a problem relating to organizational behaviour where they have to work
on solving the issue in respective manner (Peters, Calvo and Ryan, 2018). This report will reflect
the particular issue the company is facing and also mention some models to deal with the issue
gently. Also, the report will design some intervention in regard to solve or improve the situation
with some appropriate recommendations.
MAIN BODY
Identification of a problem
To run any kind of company they are required to understand the concept of organizational
behaviour from where the organization can be able to grow and develop themselves effectively.
The company Marks and Spencer has to adopt the knowledge of the organization behaviour
where the company is facing the issue in motivating the employee and staff of their organization
and leads them to obtain the low productivity and ineffective results and outcome.
Due to low motivation among employee makes them to work in indefinite manner and
delivers the lower outcome. Motivation is a kind of feeling which encourages the employee and
staff members to contribute their best efforts and hard work from where the company can get the
best and successful outcome and can grow efficiently (Pamidimukkala, Kermanshachi and Jahan
Nipa, 2021). Providing the motivation allow the staff members and employee to achieve their set
goals and targets and can obtain the successful results effectively.
Brief introduction to the organization
Marks and Spencer is a British multinational organization where it is headquartered at
London, England. The company deals in clothing, beauty and home products and even food
products as well. The organization was founded in year 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas
Spencer whereby concluding their surnames the organization name has been kept as Marks and
Spencer. Today, the company is growing and developing on daily basis and currently has 959
