dimension of globalization. There are three factors that have been identified and one out of the
three would be discussed in order to have a proper idea about the one of the aspect and what

The idea or the point that has been selected in accordance to cultural dimension of
globalization has been assessing the impact on culture on the globalization of the languages all
over the globe. It has been explained that the advent of globalization has led to various kind of
people coming from different cultures mixing with each other and this has led to the
globalization of various languages1.
This topic determines the fact that certain languages have become obsolete with the
language globalization and certain languages have gained significance as many individuals
prefer to use the language. There are several researchers who have argued for and against this
topic and one researcher from both the aspects would be considered and their perspective would

Language globalization is one of the significant aspects that have been due to advent of
cultural globalization. There has been debates on this topic and feels that language globalization
is essential as interactions among people of different cultures would be lead to the spread of the
languages and therefore each and every language would be spread all over the globe and
therefore cultural globalization would be attained2.
It has been addressed that when a person migrates from one place to the other their
language migrate as well and therefore culture diversified in accordance to the spread of the
language. Hence, language globalization is helpful for cultural globalization3.

This can be seen with the instance that languages that are used in the internet have
become much more popular and therefore people are looking to learn these languages in order to
meet interact globally. In this manner only few of the languages are getting promoted and the
other languages are getting extinguished. Hence, it can be said that language globalization is not
promoting cultural globalization as it hampers the culture of a country.
Discussion on the topic
It can be said that even though language globalization has its positives and benefits, one
should take the positives out of the topic as it is seen that language globalization is possible with
the help of people migrating and thereby the culture along with the culture is getting spread and
the development of a common language would be even make people from different cultures
come closer and thereby with the help of the common language and express and spread their
feelings and sentiments about the culture in a better manner.
