In the aspect of health and social care role of legislature, executive and judiciary is too crucial
because all these entities can set polices in order to enhancement in healthcare. Herein, below role
of legislature, executive and judiciary is demonstrated that is as follows
Role of legislature: The legislatures have enough capability to protect and promote the healthcare
services in an effective manner. This capability may leads to becoming legislatures as appropriate
policymakers for government. In addition, they can draw experience of diverse from their staff
members and can gather crucial information from vital range of sources. Such as in the aspect of
government of United Kingdom, the legislatures can be beneficial in order to make effective
polices for improving healthcare services of NHS trusts hospitals. Below the role of legislatures is
mentioned below:
The legislators are being considered well organised groups and include different associations like
British medical association. These associations can gather information about patient’s feedback
about healthcare services. On the basis of this information, the legislatures can make effective
policies in order to enhance healthcare services in entire hospital of UK in which causes are arising
due to poor management.
Role of executive: Same as the legislators, executives can also important for policy making in
aspect of healthcare. Basically, the executive branch of government is one of the key position to all
of evidence, data for formulation of better health policies. The executives are crucial as they do not
hold hearings such as judiciary and legislation. They are free to comment on organisational policies
and experts.
The executive branch of government has power to prepare and increase health policies by orders,
rules making and guidance. In the aspect of health care service of United Kingdom, executives can
be crucial because they have ability to gather detailed information by help of volunteers about
hospital which are run by NHS trusts. On the basis of it, they can provide framework about what
kind of changes required to be done in existing policies and which new policies are needed to be
implemented.
Role of judiciary: The judiciary offers ideal forum for development of different kind of healthcare
policies. Basically, the judges have ability to access evidence and arguments from various sources.
The legal system of entire judicious process assumes that judges can make effective decision after
hearing two radical of any problem.
The policy of nation and organisations guide to management team to conduct their activities and

there is any good reason of not following. In the context of healthcare, statutory guidance are being
followed by different kind of hospitals in United Kingdom. The statutory guidance has some
features that are mentioned below:
In the context of healthcare services statutory guidance helps in focusing on health of children so
that death rate can be minimised. Like as per the given case the there are more number of hospitals
wherein huge number of people died due to lack of care. In this situation, the statutory guidance can
make hospitals entitled to follow the guidance in order to improve healthcare services.
These guidance of healthcare enforces to hospitals to focus on mental health of patients so that their
health can be improve in less time period as much as possible. Basically, for patients the role of
mental health is too crucial because if a person is mentally strong then can be improve in less time
period. Such as in the aspect of hospitals run by NHS trust are needed to be follow this guidance so
that admitted patients can become fit.
Code of practice- In the context of healthcare, these practices can be helpful for their staff members
to perform their responsibilities in an effective manner. It has some features that are as follows:
These code of practice enforces to staff members of any unit to perform their tasks and activities
with full of responsibilities so that services can be enhanced. In the aspect of hospitals which are run
by NHS trusts, role of these practices can be beneficial for patients. This is so because if doctors and
staff members will perform their tasks with their responsibilities then health of patients will
enhance.
National and organisational policy – The national policies are prepared by government of any
particular country separately for different aspects. As well as organisational polices are formed and
implemented by different companies as accordance of operations.
